@atheistmantis, while you may be replying others, doing so in a manner that makes your name show up twice in succession makes it a double (or triple) post.
Example
This is a triple post, which means this discussion isn’t really a discussion anymore, it’s you “talking” to yourself at a glance (since no one has had a chance to talk or reply).
This is highly frowned upon in forums because it gives the illusion that there are multiple voices in a given thread (as the post number goes up, as well as it being bumped to the top of the topic list) even though it’s just a single user doing all the typing.
To refrain from this behavior: edit your most recent post with the information you would have included in a sequential post (so you keep all your talking points in one post) and then courteously wait for another to reply.
(I’m not going to employ a hammer to these rules right now as it seems you’re new to this world, so we’re just going to try to teach you the mannerisms of forums for now)
On a different note: if you have to edit a post to address multiple points (as I have) - use the formatting tools to your advantage! A line break (as shown above) can help divide thoughts into categories; when addressing multiple people it can help to either use the “quote” feature or @Username so the appropriate person knows where they matter in a long post (if they need to read or reply to something)
