For aggro decks with a low curve, yeah. But for mid-range decks with a bunch of Painters, Zendos, EMPs and Hamons, your hand will get clunky real quick. Suppose mid-range can still survive if it plays a more aggro game I guess.

I could be wrong though, since I am but a peasant compared to your songhai greatness.

@gsvalhalla, when I said jaguar was gonna affect meme decks, I specifically meant decks built around movement that also include cards like black locus. You can definitely swap out Hamon or Geomancer for Jaguar though when playing a regular mid-range deck.

I don’t like Solarius anywhere. I actually run Spelljammer in my faster titan lists. But it works if you make it work. Some people do it, at least.

It’s a memey archetype, just like Replace, but it’s still a card you can build your decks around if your faction can get advantage of it. Just like Abyssian with Devourer + Reliq. Not top tier, but it can compete.

I would add “anything with creep AS A WINCON”, and nowadays that’s inly Control Cass

You should add Dying Wish Vet and Corpse Combustion to the list, while the deck isn’t top tier it is absolutely playable and the loss of Corpse combustion will certainly hurt it.

Very happy that crescent spear will go away, I hate that card. Off all of this the byebye of falcius is definitely the big one, vetruvian will no more have his staple 3 drops and it’s insane tempo plays. The two archetypes that will suffer the most are creep abyss and eggmar, I really hope that they will support that with the new expansion.

Maybe this is the place to post all of my Lurking Fear subtypes (within the archetype). Thought I’d save this for the actual rotation date but since I’m for once on topic here:

GoodStuff (the “basic” one)
Z0rlithe (mech)
Beefy boiz (Big dying wish)
Keeper/Unseven
Swarm hybrids
Creep hybrid
Literally half of Maehv lists
Horrors (between aggro and midrange)

Honorable mentions to a very fancy subtype that I haven’t really used:
Infinite Sarlacs

I’m not even joking, they run the same exact lists, including the same amount of minions, it’s just that you can play 8g8s without mantra by maxing out on spiral technique.

Well my Jaguar deck also runs Kataras. Cheap body with great effect.

Same, but I already got a replacement lined up for when it rotates out. Same with Battle Panddo. Jaguar is the only card in the deck that rotates out but I don’t have own a copy of what I would replace it with. Which at the moment is looking like Zendo, unless better comes out in the expansion.

I can say I’ve been playing Movement/Jaguar Kaleos without Zendo. Which is probably a midrange deck and been winning the vast majority of my games with the deck.

Yeah, I know its entirely possible to be competitive without Zendo but I was gonna make a whole joke abput blasphemy and stuff…guess I’ll just go home then.

I don’t play Zendo. Not that I’m against it or smth, I just can’t find a place for him in my stupid decks.
