Well we got new lore this month so i thought it would be a good idea to revive this thread. So now we know that the vetruvian wars were asteria vs vetruvian (at least the first one) and we have a source of animosity between the factions, we also know that the vetruvians have emotions so theirs that.

We now know what a Scion is : a Vetruvian individual. What do they do? Well, what does Sajj do? If Sajj is a Scion, then there’s something that makes her one. What? Hey, I can’t do all the work for you, I don’t even play Vetruvian.

That is a good question! I myself wonder who he is. I thought of Sargos for some reason but he’s dead.
I think it’s Mogwai. He’s a got a stick like him and travels all around the world, which was what L’Kian asked him to do.

Mogwai has a Naginata/halberd though, not a simple stick. The 3 people from the wallpaper also don’t look like they are the same person, different physique and hairstyle, dfferent walking canes.
I believe that it was stated that the man? in the landscapes is the same individual, but we don’t know who he is (just yet).

hahaha thats a good description there and frankly couldnt agree with you more, but about vanar according to the Lore they are this group of nomads (but less developed than songhai I guess) who protect some sacred treasure (idk, gotta read up the lore again) in those snowy mountains. Usually they have to be a bunch of strong, powerful shepherd/nomadic group with the ability to seek the help of beasts in the area.
We also find that some vanars often ‘fuse’ with the creatures in the area (beastmaster and draugar warlord are fine examples), and its evident that once they die, they will turn into those creatures and have another life, re-incarnation is the word.
In my opinion, the vanar is extremely strong and atleast a select few are immortal indirectly.
