Personally, Lilithe all the way for me, but staying on topic now. So Sajj vs. Cass. In my humble opinion, look-wise I prefer Sajj, there’s just something about her that’s adorable. Sure Cass is a loli, buuuut Sajj wins my vote. Game play wise…I prefer to go against and play as Sajj. She’s just more fun imo, and Cass is meh to me (again…Team Lilithe!). Just my two cents

So, here’s the issue. Sajj is a completely different character archetype than Cass. Some people just aren’t into the aesthetic of people who are immortal children. Some of us have seen where that goes in fiction. Sajj on the otherhand? She’s the ghost in the shell. Even more than that, she’s a foil/redeemer of the other Vetruvian general (who is also far cooler than the Abyssian generals :P)
That and oh, you know, Sajj isn’t like totally the singularity that humans dream about creating. It isn’t like she hopped through time-space on accident to a time when her kind are extinct. What did Cass do? Made a bunch of pacts with subterranean creatures. She’s practically one of the children of the corn.

Well, it is mentioned Cassyva was a Vetruvian so who knows.
I doubt they’re related in the biological sense and Sajj is a recent creation of Zirix, at least that’s what the lore isn’t suggesting. If anything Sajj could be a recreation of someone that Zirix had known but died.
Edit: Maybe that someone might’ve been related to Cass I have no idea
