Lets guess the timing of the arcanyst Vanar nerf

Vanar is broken in every aspect right now
-ez ramp
-ez handrefill
-ez threads
-ez removal
-ez CC

Even with 3 emp i cant beat them consistently(diamond 3 with golem-argeon)

It just upsets me so much…that some casuals pick vanar and think they are good because they reached s-rank despite the majority of their wins beeing the responsebility of their broken deck
Its just not fun if you face the same op deck over and over AND OVER again
Not fun if you have to abuse it yourself and ruin the fun for everyone else if you want to climb

So let us guess when the devs will fix it.It took them 2 months to fix meltdown and about a year to fix kelaino…
My guess would be that they will fix it a month after the next expansion releases similar to their timing with the meltdown fix(probably their new patchpattern)

im thinking it will be the next expansion that brings in cards that easily counter vanarcanysts. whenever that is.

Is it just me or does anyone else seem to not be facing primarily Vanar on the ladder? Yeah, Faie is kinda popular right now, but I feel like the general choice is still pretty diverse. If anything, I feel like I am facing a ton of Abyssian, mostly Lilithe.

I am guessing the next patch will have a few tweaks, hopefully not too much. Nerfing the Neutral Arcanyst Minions will be devastating to my Lyonar Arcanyst deck so I hope it doesn’t happen.

You’re not alone, but for me, I’ve been queuing into Vaath for the most part. (Population: Smorc-town). Honestly, Vaath is the general I thought would be most prominent right now, not really a Vanar general.

If Vanar gets hit, I would think it would be no sooner than the next expansion. If the last expansion didn’t nerf many Vanar cards, then the next expansion could potentially be meant to bring tools to deal with the faction more easily.

In my opinion it’s not the faction that’s need a nerf to the face. Giving that the main tribes of vanar doesn’t get support and not even on the tier list (vespyr and wall).
I hope that the next patch/exp. will detonate the whole arcanyst thing that’s going on, it’s not fun and broken nine ways to Sunday. (as a vanar main) I changed into Songhai just cause the whole “new faie” thing, It’s disgusting.

We use to have a decent vespyr and wall decks that are actually fun and rewarding to play and play against. Cpg screwed up in the last exp. no doubt about it.

Vanar will be looked at after Duelyst world championship, They couldn’t make significant changes to game before their biggest tourney. After championship I am guessing a month or two after we should see some changes.

Now for unpopular opinion Vanar needs to be left alone and they need to buff Kaloes, Sajj ,Ziran and Lilthe.And Since what needs to be buff is so specific then more likely the wont feel good until a expansion. Note nerfing Arcanyst stuff hurt Songhai and Abyss.Even if you nerf Magmar and Vanar they will have top deck in meta.
