Why does no one use it has a pretty decent stat line and if u use a deck that runs beefy minions who don’t care about no scrawny ass 1/3s. Using it now in my cadence abyssian deck
Komodo Hunter Underrated
I’ve found it strongest when you have Overload or Thunderhorn or tile blocking to remove the 1/3’s or keep them from spawning. Initially I thought this card would be op, but it’s pretty balanced and not that great if you can’t clean up the Chargers.

One of these days it might be good in Abyss they have stuff like grasp of agony and Infest that synergize well enough with Komodo Hunter but there’s also a big downside to playing Komodo Hunter especially early . Those puny chargers can grab mana tiles and it is all fun games until the chargers grab two tiles and they completely out tempo you.Also faction like Lyonar and Vet have good buffs that can be applied to Chargers which make trading easier.

Has been mentioned already but playing it on curve often means conceding mana tiles and when not played on curve the big statline doesn’t matter as much and the chargers can be used by your opponent to hem you in and block lines of attack and can also be buffed to become real nuisances.
I would love to make use of the card but unfortunately there are often just better options out there.

There’s also that most decks like to run more 4-drops than 3-drops, leaving the poor Hunter to compete with cards like all sentinels, Falcius, Ragebinder, Silverguard, Scintilla and Lantern Fox
I used to play it on Abyssian ... before Phantasm nerf :)

I tried Komodo Hunter for some time in KinemathiccThunderhorn Vet. Itt helps getting those juicy multiple hits with Kinematic Projection, bridges for Thunderhorn and is a decent bearer of Kinematic itself. But dont run Litd with it boyz.
