I cracked forty orbs. Thirty-five from the starter pack, the three freebies they handed out, and two I bought with what gold I had.
I got seventy-nine unique cards. At least one copy of over three quarters of the set. Not bad.
I got eight suzumebachis, one of them prismatic. Can suzumebachi be the new serpenti? Please? You know what, whenever I see anyone bring up serpenti from now on, I’m going to bring up suzumebachi. I’m going to say they’re best friends. Seriously, Chakri avatars aren’t exactly game breakers, how is making their buff a bad temporary version of itself and stripping their arcanyst status away an equal trade with getting one extra point of health? Which the Chakri avatars can easily give themselves anyway! Why waste the name and sprite art if you’re going to make one of the worst cards in the entire game!?
Deep breaths. Okay. But hey, fun facts, suzume means sparrow, hachi (yes with an H) means bee, and suzumebachi (yes with a B) means sparrow bee! Or hornet! Or giant Japanese nightmare hornet!
…Aaaaand the rest is going to have to wait because reasons. But, subjectively, I feel like I got a lot of epics and legendaries from this batch. We’ll see how that holds up.
Okay, I’m back. I got five prismatic commons, two prismatic rares, twenty-seven epics, one of them prismatic, and sixteen legendaries, one of them prismatic. Of all the mentioned cards in this section, counting prismatics and nons as the same card, the only duplicate I got was a fourth Vetruvian legendary skyppy.
So that means I got a number of legendaries equal to forty percent of the number of orbs I opened. Freaking amazing. Alright, folks, that’s that.
PS: Hitting disenchant extras at the end spat out 460 spirit, so I got very little excess. RNG smiled upon me this day.
