Infiltrate? Perhaps Frostbyte?

As a Vanar player I personally find that the Infiltrate mechanic is too limited an thematically out of place. Infiltrate as a mechanic is only useful on one half of the game board. Compared to the other factional mechanics it seems to have the least capability or ways of achieving its goal. It is weak to rush as a mechanic an demands a specific play style to be successful. Thematically it seems like it should belong to the Songhai faction as they have the mobility tool to get the most benefit out of a mechanic of that nature. So why not Frostbyte. Frostbyte fits both thematically and removes the half board weakness of infiltrate.

Whenever this card deals damage to an enemy minion with more health than it, it will stun it.
OR
Attacks made against this card reduce the damage dealt to it by (X)

Perhaps this mechanic is too strong but, I wanted to open the discussion.

I personally like the mechanic, I simply think it needs a little more support.

Yeah I think it’s mostly because the cards themselves are not that great, except ice bug. Ice bug is legit.

The mechanic is fine, we just need more than two playable minions with this mechanic to be worth it. Snowchaser and Crystal Cloaker are both strong minions and with all the Stuns and Walls in Vanar you have excellent tools to keep the opponent on his side of the field. I think there was a tourmatch like 2 months ago, Disruption Faie vs Tempo Argeon with Faie as P1 where Argeon didn’t get to move from his starting position the entire game and eventually died where he started, was hilarious to watch.

Maybe we get some more support for these old mechanics in the next expansion, the last 2 focused entirely on new mechanics so we got essentially 1 extra infiltrate minion in all this time that isn’t part of the core set. And that 3/4 put a battlepet in you hand when you hit the general isn’t exactly a worthwhile minion.
