Immortal Vanguard - Nightmare Operant

Judging from the current card pool, the fact that this is a mech doesn’t really do anything. It seems just as good in a regular deck versus a Mech deck, barring some Alter Rex Synergy.

However, new cards might change this. Maybe there will be a card that draws a Mech from your deck. Maybe there’s a card that buffs whatever mechs you play. As for now, this might see play as a generic 2 drop depending on how lucking you think you are, and how slow your deck is.

Another thing to note, this card is the first card that increases your deck size that I have seen so far. Maybe I can use this fact in sandbox mode…

Very bizarre to me to hear this considering it was mechs that won the worlds. I think the changes in stats and mana cost make it really difficult to assess, but I think there’s still definite potential for it to make it to worlds again (aka Mech will still need to be addressed because it’s gross).

Yeah im talking top tier ladder not tournaments. But either way still doubt Mech Abyss will be the mech deck to reach worlds or better yet be the top mech deck on ladder.

The mech decks that made it to worlds won’t exist anymore.

And this card, as it stands, does not provide any Mech support. It just adds a Mechazor card to your deck. It might as well not be a mech card. But as it’s been said, we’ll have to see if anything else is revealed that synergize with mech tribal.

really? playable in mech only seems a bit harsh. I’d think this is good for any abbysian control deck since a 5 mana 8/8 with airdrop,frenzy, ranged, and hexproof is VERY good and might be worth the wait

Firstly, I posted that before the card was released. Secondly, I actually would only play this outside of mech. Thirdly, Mechazor is a 4 mana 6/6 with Forcefield, Frenzy, Airdrop and Ranged.

I can’t believe nobody has considered the synergy this has with cards like consuming rebirth and blood echoes to fill your deck with Mechaz0r!s. A bit memey I know but maybe a meme loving abyssian player like @miguelosz would be interested in trying it out, preferably with Z0r for extra dying wish synergy.

Yup, I’m thinking Lurking Fear, Z0r and this (no other Mechs needed) with all the dying wish sheganigans :stuck_out_tongue: Too bad Nether doesn’t work with the big dude since he’s a token :confused:

I’ve been thinking for an aggro dying wish Abyss for a long time actually, so maybe with the next expac it will finally see the light of day.

Add blood echoes and Sarlacs for ultimate memeness :slight_smile:

When I finally get that Aggro DW abomination done, Blood Echoes will definitely be there :stuck_out_tongue: Sarlac could be hard to fit though but with Maehv’s tempo it just might work.

It’s shuffled in your deck - not the action bar.

Lower mana cost Mechazor (7->4), Mechazor Generation by dying wish (Nightmare), a new mech that pull on the board mech from the deck (Deceptib0t)…

Do I see the future Meta here ?

I mean, pulling generated Mechazor on the board by killing something with a 4/5 4mana is not that hard. And if it die by spell you can still find your mech later. There is something to try here, it can make powerfull turn with 4 mana.

PS : Will pull the other nightmare operant instead of Mechazor, a lot XD.
