Pretty nifty! Encourages players to focus more on positioning, like Thunderhorn, but the effect and stat line are a fair bit weaker. I would prefer this as a 3/6, but it still seems quite strong, especially if it’s allowed to attack at least once.
Also, what’s with all the Sound based Abyssian cards? Echoing Shriek, Kalaxon, and now Cacophynos.
I don’t know about this card. Unlike Lillithe and Cassyva, Maehv does not have any hard removal in the faction that directly has synergy with her bbs. While Cacophynos definitely fills that role, their are better options for her in terms of 6 mana dying wish units (reaver) and removal (punish could still probably work, dark transformation, necrotic sphere). Lurking sphere could make it slightly better, but I wouldn’t call this a incredibly strong card. It does have the potential to 2 for 1 when it comes to trading, so the unit has some potential.
Edit: rebirth effects also exist (the 3 mana and 2 mana ones) which will also make it a bit interesting.

Well designed and balanced card. Will see use in Cadence decks if they become a serious thing.

Cacophynos is a comeback card. Having an effect that addresses enemy minions, but a body that threatens face damage makes it powerful to leave out for more than 1 turn.
It is an uninspiring effect, but I think it’ll bring out interesting various ways to tackle against this card. I can’t imagine combo’ing it in 1 turn, but more of a setup of Shadow Reflection (+5 atk) and/or Cadence if it goes unaddressed. 11 dmg isn’t bad as a finisher though (but might as well do the 10/3 razorcrag golem)
This card will help control abyssian even more since it will draw so much attention to address (not like they needed it).
I can only view it as a continous removal with Consuming rebirth, Echoes and such.
It can be easily killed by cheaper minionss and spells without any chance to produce its effect.
Weak card for 4 mana, effect is useless unless triggered on your turn, and even then it’s RNG. Best thing about this card is the 6 attack, so if they don’t have minions to remove it it’ll be way harder
This card really isn’t worth it cause it can easily be played around, however the stats might be enough to keep it going but I really doubt it will see play
With Maehv bbs its actually pretty Powerfull, 5 mana summon a 4/4 and destroy an enemy minion. But in other situation its a bit meh.
I expect some ‘trigger Dying Wish effect’ to happen for the new General, or ‘resummon all minions (with dying wish?) that died this turn’ cards.
That’s a 7 mana 2 enemy minion clear or a 4 mana 6 dam possible extra clear…

What are you talking about? You just run a 3/2 dervish into it and laugh at them for wasting 4 mana and doing nothing.
5 mana obelysk removal when they can easily remove it with Whip or Dispel or Punish or Ritual Banishing or…
better yet, plant an aymara next to it before killing it so you can push lethal

After a DFS it’s 7 mana, and if you been lucky with some earlier Phantasms, could be a 8 or 10/3
