If Boreal Juggernaut Were a Playable General, Would you Play Him?

I don’t think so. With his inability to move more than one space at a time, you’d end up bodyblocking your self half the time, and getting to mana tiles would be insanely difficult. However, the Frenzy, Stun, and increased helath and attack may make up for this, but he is hard countered by Silhouette Tracers, and ā€œlameā€ tactics in general.

However, I do frequently have incorrect opinions, so please feel free to debate this and tell me why I’m wrong.

EDIT: Assuming you’re stuck with his deck. You’re stuck with Magmar, Vanar, and Trinity Oath.

i actually will play him, his attack and hp makes up for any short comings it has.

there is so many deck potential we can make if we have 40 health, also our general becomes really powerful against face rush damage.

the answer is yes and he will probably be the best general hands down.

I’d probably play him, seeing as we can combine cards from all factions into one deck. Plus he benefits from silhouette tracers just as much as he’s hurt by them

oh come on, of course we shouldn’t be able to combine cards from all factions right?

He doesn’t start with the walls, rather where all other generals start and tracers cost four, sooo…

He’d have a HUGE tempo disadvantage, but his massive health and access Trinity oath would make him a nightmare to take down. Plus his dispel is limited to Chromatic Cold, meaning he almost insta-loses to BurnHai. However, he seems like he’d insta-win against Magmar, and maybe Vetruvian.

No, I mean yes…Whichever one defies your words

i don’t understand, we are stuck with the deck he is using right now as the boss? we can’t create our own deck? what is the worth of a static deck? nothing.

if we can’t make our own deck, he’s worthless. i don’t mind being stuck in 1 faction only but not being able to make a deck that is a gigantic disadvantage i wouldn’t want to take.

I can see that. I’ve fixed it again.

Are you joking? 5 attack, 40 hp, frenzy, stun and cards from other factions would make Boreal Juggernaut an op general. it doesn’t matter if you could only move one tile. You could just keep healing yourself while maintaining a clear board state using A.O.E . Your own general would be the win condition and if moving 1 tile feels bad then you could use silhouette tracer to teleport. In conclusion, yes i would play boreal juggernaut if he was a general.

Yeah, you could just Hailstone Prison a Tracer with a Kujata or two on the board.

We also have to consider that the game will last way longer so enemies will have to keep up somehow. Also what would a game between two Boreal Juggernauts be like?

Each would stun the other in the middle of the field while the real war happens in the backlines :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: or each would try to make Magmar style combos or replace aggressively for healing in a match where a 10 damage burst is an annoyance and a 15+ is needed to win.

Mill Boreal Juggernaut counters Boreal Juggernaut?

Wait, there’s something that doesn’t already do this?

I don’t think so. I would play around with it for a while because it sounds fun and new, but it’s just not my style. Monolith Guardian, though… that’s a General I’d main till the end of my days

As would I. For fifteen years.

Yeah, I know, but he would make that even more so.
