
I came up with this forcefield deck sometime ago and have a lot of fun playing/tweaking it. The idea is to deploy a bunch of forcefield minions, buff them and keep them alive as long as possible by using provoke minions and clearing enemy units with AoE spells.Please let me know what you think and how I can improve this deck.
Minions
- Slo: Slo + Immolation or can be used on mana tiles to play the 4 drops earlier
- Fiz: A bit out of place, should I replace this with another 2 drops?
- Primus Fist: I don’t normally play this in early-game, this is meant to buff other minions to achieve lethal
- Windblade & Silverguard: staple minions
- Nightwatcher: situational, but very effective when needed. Counter Makantor Jesus, Simcity Zirix, Revenant, Tigers… and it makes Tusk Boars completely useless.
- Sunbreaker: deal with swarm, and has good synergy with other forcefield minions since they take no damage from Tempest … but I’m thinking about keep only 1 of this.
- Sunsteel Defender: this is the soul of the deck
- Ironcliff: staple minions, help chasing down running away generals
- Elyx: another healthy body with great utilities
Spells
- Aegis Barrier: further expand the “forcefield” concept, also provides card draw option. I only have 1 copy of this but I think I need at least 2
- Prism Barrier: make moar forcefields!
- Afterblaze: buff + my other card draw mechanism
- The rest: self-explanatory
