I met Stormshade @ PAX

I met @stormshade at PAX 2018 at Bandai’s Bless Unleashed booth.

Super chill guy, working in the trenches talking to fans at a game conference as I’ve done myself many times over the years.

He said he’s working on hiring someone to get some community support bandwidth back to Duelyst.

He was unable to offer anything surrounding future development efforts or plans for Duelyst beyond Bamco’s intent to get more community support.

In my personal opinion (purely based on observation) - the future of Duelyst likely lies in the hands of CPG and will be influenced by the amount of time and resources they decide to invest in it. I could be wrong, especially if Bamco has additional plans for Duelyst beyond what was mentioned… I just haven’t seen any evidence of that currently.

TLDR: Stormshade was a very cool guy. He’s working on getting more community support for Duelyst. Hopefully Duelyst gets a little love. Such a great game!

As an aside, Bless Unleashed looked like a solid MMORPG. They only showed a tiny section of the game at PAX, but it looks very polished and I’m looking forward to trying it.

Dunno, it is a big community event and he might have recognised Sylvermyst first and introduced himself

I literally asked, “Hey - is Stormshade here?” and someone called him over. :slight_smile:

It’s weird how that works isn’t it? Thanks so much for stopping by the booth Sylvermyst. It was great getting a chance to meet you.

I’m back in the office from my adventures to Seattle today. So, I’ll be going through and catching up on a lot of stuff today, both here on the forums, and elsewhere.

We should be in great shape very soon guys!
