I don't understand prismatic progression rewards

I am relatively new to the game and I’ve been leveling up my factions. Along the way I’ve been unlocking progression awards, as one does, and I’m starting to get prismatic versions of cards I already have. So I thought “cool! I have some duplicates that I can disenchant”… Nope. For example, I have six copies of Crystal Cloaker (three prismatic), none of which I can disenchant and I can only use three. So I really don’t understand the purpose of these “rewards”. Am I missing something? Thank you.

If you can’t craft the card you can’t dust it.
The reward is cosmetic only

All progression cards are basic cards, which means that they can not be crafted or disenchanted. You technically gain access to all of the basic faction cards when you reach level eleven with each faction. Beyond level eleven you only unlock prismatic versions of basic cards you already own. Some people like using Prismatics and consider them good rewards while others don’t care about them at all.

ever heard of gold guns, fortnite’s lvl 100 john wick skins, or anything along those lines? it’s like that. cosmetic. swag. nothing says “u got done beat by a phreetuuplae” like the lvl 50 prismatic general lilithe card without the MK II equipped.

Prismatics are for rarity whores like me who like shiny cards.

Have a nice day.

That’s what I was afraid of. The appeal of shiny cards is lost on me. As is gifting six copies of the same card that can’t be broken down for spirit. At least, there’s not a limit on collection space…wait… is there? Thanks for the replies and well wishes.

No you’re right, there’s no limit on collection size just on the amount of cards you can brin in a deck.

Happy collecting!

No limit, that’s why I have 11 Serpentis and 3 Prismatic Serpentis.
