Where shall I begin? My name is Blake Pollock, I began duelyst late December (on new years haha) and I am 17 years old.
I whole heartedly believed that my time away from this game was permanent as I whole heartedly believed in what the team at counterplay games was doing for duelyst in early February. I was wrong on both accounts,
but that doesn’t mean its over for me. This expansion and the release on steam marks something new, a new chapter that I was only two days ago completely willing to be apart from but something that would realize the future I thought was just around the corner around 5 months ago. For better or for worse I am here again and while I still hold some reservations I can put aside my opinions to see what happens in the days to come.
This is not some epic arrival, but hello. The game is deep as it has potential, lots of things occurred to warp it’s identity (and mine) on fundamental levels.
I see now what is more important is the direction we face today as a game and it’s community rather then constantly wondering about our place in it.
On that note, how were you all?
