Title says all, I have trouble against this particular opening. turn one they play kujata, can’t prevent them from getting a mana tile and then whatever i have on the field gets killed by lavaslasher.
Sometimes i do have chromatic cold or hearthsister but if not…:o

Really, that opening is sick.
On the serious side, the only advice I can give is positioning your minion so that the Magmar player does not get advantage of the Lavaslasher OG. Also, try to buy some time by running around, so that you can play your Enfeeble before taking too much damage.
Play Bluetip scorpion. Lava lasher’ left at 2 up so you can hit, c.cold, etc to kill it
They might just hit with general and pop it in your face tho xD
Back off and let them ramp. Save a CC or AoF for the inevitable Juggernaut and ride that lopsided removal right back into the game.
You can always deal with w/e they throw at you. You cannot, however, heal your face. Better to let them summon a big minion than try to brawl.
I would suggest that you play Vanar, but seeing that you have that part down already, I would say just Jund them. Jund 'em is always the answer.
In all seriousness, your play really depends on which Vanar deck you are playing. If you see them drop Metalurgist or Kujata, play your minions (preferably snow-ball minions) near the back. Then, their Slasher will just be a large body that Vanar has plenty of ways to deal with. If you’re playing Arcanyst, this would be a good time to play Circulus or Owlbeast out of reach. If you’re playing Vespyr, you can take this chance to play Glacial Elemental. If you’re playing aggro… there’s not really anything to do. Maybe Remove the Kujata? Ignore it and go face?
… and of course all the other classical, CCold, AoFox, Enfeeble … but you probably better save them for the further rounds.
Really, you’re far from missing the tools.
