So these new gauntlet cardsā¦do they actually do anything? At all? Iāve played 4 or 5 gauntlet runs each time using a different card. They donāt seem to actually do anything at all.
On my first run I got one that was supposed to give me all legendary faction cards. So naturally I expected that on my next run I would get just that, legendary faction cards. I got 2, which doesnāt seem higher than usual. There was a round where my fatesealer was dispelled so I thought maybe that was why (can they be dispelled as such?).
Next I got 2 fortuneshapers. I played them all the time and they didnāt get dispelled. Awesome, I thought, now on my next run I should get all epic cards. Low and behold to my amazement I got nothing of the sort. I did however pick up a futureshaker. I couldnāt figure out why these cards werenāt doing anything. Maybe they needed to be played on the last match of my run? So I jumped into a match, played the futureshaker, won and then resigned the run because Iā¦justā¦wantedā¦toā¦seeā¦theseā¦cardsā¦work.
Take a guess at what happened when I started a new run? Did I get a bunch of legendary natural cards? NOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEE.
What even are these cards? Did the devs just throw in cards that donāt actually do anything to get people to spend a bunch of gold on gauntlet runs? It sure is feeling that way to me right now. The text stating things like āYour next gauntlet card choices will be legendary faction cardsā seems extremely clear and unambiguous but in reality it is anything but if they work at all. Can someone shed some light here because I feel like I just wasted a bunch of gold on nonsense and Iām feeling like putting duelyst onto the shelf.
Needless to say the deck was crap.
