Q4 is soon they say.

I gave up on waiting and just bought 49 packs with spare gold.

I wouldn’t be concerned yet. We were told there will be change in Quarter 4 of this year (October-December)

We get less attention due to other gaming projects being worked on, but I don’t think we’re completely abandoned. :grinning:

If i have to bet (and devs keep their promise) i would say that the expansion Will be in november. So in october we should start to see pixel arts and cards spoilers. Again, if evrything goes well…

Of note they did not ever promise an expansion in Q4 just to be on the lookout for something.

I’ll say that it is better be big (major expansion big) or duelyst will lose alot playerbase wise and credibility wise.

So honestly playerbase wise I’m not expecting much of a drop, aside from a natural decline from a lack of regular content, even if there is absolutely nothing. In terms of credibility they wouldn’t lose too much considering they were very careful to not actively promise anything specifically so that there wouldn’t false promises being made. They gave an estimate that’s all.

Really, the wisest thing for CPG to do is just tell us what they are working/planning on instead of leaving everything to speculation.

I mean they did that once and when they couldn’t deliver which spawned the “mobile” meme and that hasn’t died since. Thanatos has stated something along the lines of they don’t want to talk about anything until it’s completely finished. :man_shrugging:

Makes sense. A little hint would always be nice though.

Yeye though saying something like “something may be coming in Q4” does technically count as that hint and even saying something as vague as that does have the consequence of causing many people to start spreading “devs said we’re getting an expansion in Q4” which is a very different thing from what they tried to say so even that can be dangerous.

That’s honestly the community’s fault though. Information tends to get overblown to unwanted proportions. I wish we could stop with that.

yep yep it’s really quite unfortunate

What else can you expect after a very long break of nothing form the devs?

I mean it’s expected that the community response will be something like overblowing anything they say which unfortunately works to dissuade them from wanting to share anything.

New boss battles? Guys, it’s sarcasm.

New game modes, for example. Not that they are needed or viable, just an example.

SP campaign. Anything.

The truth is, expansion and balance patch is what community wants. Anything else would be a huge disappointment whether they promised it or not.

A mini expansion of 50 cards and a few tweaks to balance would be all it takes to satisfy me.
