Help please with adjusting decks

Looking for inputs on my decklists, these days my most common match up are Healyonar, Wall/Arcanyst Vanar
Personally I struggle the most against Healyonar, and the occasional Songhai.
Some of the decks i list here haven’t been refined much.

In place of Feralu i formerly used Night Watcher, but since the match up with Vetruvian, Abyss and Magmar plummeted i decided to ditch it for extra stats. I’d say it have about 60-ish win rate

The most recent deck i made, and for some reason the only version of Vanar I could play without getting bored, Vespyr themed. so far 4-2 in gold

A deck i think i copied from “The cat-lovers Vetruvian happy thread” with several changes, Duskweaver have been kind of fun with the random third-wish. i altered to this after finding out my months old artifact Sajj deck can’t even contest other decks in a lot of cases (Although it was far from a good one)

A really old deck, Cryptographer is a new entry to replace keeper of the vale while eludicator replaced bounded lifeforce and third copy of tracer.

My somewhat working Deathwatch deck, the random one-of is because i only have a single copy of it. I personally forgot why i have Obliterate in the deck aside from the presence of Nocturne and Sphere.

The first deck i made (And quickly left behind) after the expansion just to mess around with the new sentinels and flamewreath. Haven’t had a play songhai quest in weeks.

well thank you for taking the time to check this post, i personally wouldn’t mind if you tell me to ditch the whole deck for something overall better (I do love those sweet 3 wins gold) though i currently play mostly for fun. i have an alternate deck for Zir’an (Which i left behind after finding out she’s everywhere), Starhorn (Blood rage, Decimus), and Kara (Arcanyst which i find a bit slow for my taste)

Lyonar - lionheart blessing is bad.
it looks like you are trying to build a swarm/golem list, but thats no reason to play manaforger for that, the only synergy manaforger has is feralu.
instead of filling most of your low curve deck with draw, try adding a few higher cost minions like ironcliffe.
silverguard and adept are still very good cards you should consider, even with the golem deck
most of zirans value minions have 4 health, so either add some ping to your lasting judgements (bloodtear, rokodoptra, etc) or try running something that can kill them in 1 hit (draining wave, roared tigers, circle of life, etc)
maybe consider shiro puppydragon for that swarmy goodness or primus fist if things arent survivng more that 2 turns
celebrant and metallurgists are ramp tools and you have no minions worth ramping out, try to add some bigger golems for ramping, you might find your hand stays healthier.

Vanar - eyyy vespyrs
vespyric might is bad. you dont have enough minion generation to make it worthwhile
youre using mana deathgrip(probably for ping) but dont have any really good minions to ramp out with that mana. (vespyrs do have awkward mana totals, so you can keep it if you want)
try adding vespyric call for minions you dont have and pseudo card generation
add snowchasers, its probably the best stand alone vespyr and keeps your hand from being too empty
you NEED either chromatic cold or aspect of the fox. preferably both.

Is that kaleos list just cards you got from orbs because what is zendo doing with four winds magi?

Edit: what is one Zendo doing with two four winds.

Looks kinda like spellhai and control kaleos wrapped in one with some “goodstuff.”

Add rakushi / spiral counter / maw if you want more control (ie Zendo, Thunderhorn, Flamewrath) or add mystics, tigers and calligraphers if you want more spells (also Four Winds, Bloodrage/Lantern and Phoenix Fire upped for consistency. Mantra & Trinity wing?)

have you tried inkling surge or furosa for your swarm list?
blood echoes actually doesnt synergize with deathwatch (other than grimwar)
try adding a few more 1/2 cost minions or evening out your numbers (i know i shouldnt be one to judge but most people try to keep a card at 3x as much as possible)

let me start with Lyonar
Manaforger have been quite helpful with casting lionheart blessing for free, and lionheart blessing is there for Afterblaze synergy (Which is kind of bad now that i think about it), meanwhile i used to put Boulder Breacher in the deck. but the rarity of Magmar and Hard hitting minions in the matchup made me pull it out, as for the bigger golems i’m not sure of which one i should put in without feeling awkward in hand.
I’ve been considering putting Adept and Knight back into the deck as well as Tigers(which i somehow keep forgetting to put into the deck everytime i made changes).

i actually only have a single copy of vespyric call, and just earlier i remember that chasers are vespyrs, i am considering of replacing Borean bear as it feels rather clunky (And for some reason i think it gain +2 attack with each vespyr), it’s a really heavy win-more deck honestly. I’ll probably exchange Borean bear for Chroma. Vespyric might is there for those occasion when my board sticks, else it’s just insta replace

I have tried the furosa one but i find myself confused on the game plan of it, haven’t tried inkling surge but have met one and lost to it. I agree with the blood echoes, mostly use it to multiply sarlac or refresh when something survives trading (Doesn’t happen often)

Some big minions will likely help. Lyonar don’t have the best removal against big minions.
You’ve already got dispel for tiles and Sunforge buffs.
Sometimes it is a good idea to avoid early fights. Can’t heal if you are full health.
If you see a Ziran standing on a heal tile, you can try not putting minions beside said tile but putting within attacking threat range to lure the Ziran off the tile.
Obviously a dead Ziran can’t heal. Some burst helps. Consider adding the usual Tigers.

Now that it is mentioned, i do realize that healyonar only have a couple of ways to deal with big bodies.

Although is it better to put the bigger golems or things like Ironcliffe? Since I’m not running DB in the deck.

ironcliffe is beefier with 10 health and can be put anywhere with airdrop, so if you have problems with reach or they are using damage to kill it, its a good choice

but if you want to capitalize on your golem synergy or find plasma storm to be a problem then golems like hailstone or brightmoss will do just fine

Most of your lists are absolute disasters, and you should really just remake them.

Your Lyonar list is rather decent (read: salvageable) so I’ll start there.

• This is a golem list, so why are you playing Mana Forger? Don’t.

• Lionheart Blessing is kinda trash. It’s a one mana conditional draw that forces you to attack, and with weird position. With Thunderhorn running rampant this expansion, that’s not really a good idea.

• Feralu is a strange addition, but I kind of like it.

• One ofs are bad, so remove Spellammer and add in a 3rd L’kian.

• You don’t really need Sun Bloom, so you can remove it if you want to.

• You do not play Argeon without Sliverguard Knight.

Aside from those, the list is fine.

Vespyr Vanar (as in the whole archetype) is kind of bad, but I have no experience whatsoever with it, so carry on. Nothing really stands out to me as a terrible decision, aside from playing Vespyrs.

Vet list is pretty good. Maybe consider a replacement for Pax in this Thunderhorn meta?

Your Vaath smash list is good on the grounds that it contains Slasher and Makantor. Maybe get rid of Entropic Gaze for Saberspine Tiger, you know, for more Thumping Wave targets.

The Abyssian list is entirely trash. Remake it in my opinion.

The Kaleos list is also hot flaming garbage, there are way too many 2 ofs. Once again, remake the list, but try to stick to 3 ofs. Calligrapher is pretty bad by the way. Also, why do you not have MDS or Juxtaposition? Why are you not playing Katara? You’re missing a lot of staples.

@oranos I exchanged manaforger with hailstone after posting the decks here, but I haven’t try it yet.

Curiously enough I’m probably not high enough or the matchmaking system is wonky that i’ve only seen a handful of players using thunderhorn, or even less than that.

Though @isgopet took out manaforger for hailstone but haven’t try the deck after changing it. what would you consider to replace sun bloom? Another removal tool or beefy minion?

I think i have the whole package for the regular wall/arcanyst vanar but my problem is, I tend to be confused on what I am supposed to do with the deck.

As for Pax I rarely play against thunderhorns, for some reason.

I’ll try changing gaze for tigers and see how they do.

What would you recommend for the abyss then?

I do have 2 MDS put inside the deck, and I only played the deck a week after the expansion before leaving it behind. I only have 1 juxta sadly. I’ll make changes and report back later

Having a list with an actual wincon. Really, it’s beyond saving just make a new one.

Do you have 3x Silverguard Knight in the list? Also, you’re gonna want Sabrespine Tigers. I’d nuke the Lionheart Blessing for them. Hailstones aren’t the best btw, but try them and let me know how you like it.

For the abyss i mean more on the general stuff i should play, the decks i met lately on ladder are those ridiculously expensive lurking fear dying-wish deck. And just one inkling surge deck way back.

Just messed around with the lyo decklist but haven’t try it out.

Abyssian is pretty wide. You could play Shadow Creep lists, you could play Aggro Swarm, you could play plain aggro (which is the best atm), you could play midrange, you could play Doom, you could play Cadence combo lists, there are a lot of options. In general, just pick a wincon-looking card and build a deck around it. If you have Discord, you could add me and we could discuss it more fluidly there.

I just noticed you edited your reply, decided to take out mizuchi, emp, zendo and caligrapher to make some others into 3x. Haven’t tested it yet though

You do need calligrapher or tigers as that list has no dispel. Have you met Moonlit Basilisk?

also, general rule of thumb: 9 two drops they say and I have learned from experience it’s true.
Kaido: 2/3 backstab 1 or Scroll bandit 1/3 backstab 1 whenever this backstabs, steal a spell
Xho: you, yourself, are running thunderhorn. Chakri?

I haven’t played the songhai list ever since first week post UP, so even though i have met basilisk i didn’t have to deal with it as Songhai.

I just opened a single scroll bandit a couple packs ago. With the match up i have been handed I’ll probably put chakri inside again.

Turns out class is canceled and i didn’t bring my laptop.

What is currently considered as staple on each class as of the recent patch? If anyone doesn’t mind mentioning them

Sorry, couldn’t provide much report on how the deck is going. for some reason after the patch hit my connection can’t seem to handle a match without getting disconnected a couple of times.
