Considering the poll, bloodwing warbird is clearly more of a species name than the individual bird’s name. It has been decreed, the bird’s name is Birdy McBirdface.

Id say its more like a hood than armor. Real falconeers use hoods i think to keep the birds docile and thinking its time to sleep while theyre not doing anything
