lyonar decks now is t1, they don’t need up. they need nerf. it’s my opinion.
Grandmaster Z'ir's improvment
Well if we keep nerfing tier one decks the other ones will show up and after nerfing them we will play only golems or freaking chess if that’s what you want, I’m afraid card games are not for you because that’s the essence of ccg some decks are better some are worse. We can’t nerf every good deck that shows up just because it’s “t1”, not very good argument in my opinion.
I know it, you are right I never played with him, but I know what is his use. I just say that the BBS change is not needed…
When you say that Z’ir is storng as he is, just compare him to spectral revenant, the reason why abyssian decks are so strong. Z’ir does absolutly nothing when enters the board, cannot kill your opponent or remove threats. He can be just ignored because if you become Z’ir, you run because your health is not at high numbers. And for such a reactive card something like strong BBS is needed.
ok, up all another decks to t1)))
Um, no, abyssian can function without revenant, abyssian has many very good wincons such as DFC. Revenant is not abyssians only option, nor does every deck run him, unlike makantor for magmar.
He is extremely strong if you can get him to take over but it is hard to do this. In order to suicide yourself after playing Zir you need to be at like 4 HP or lower. Most of the time when you die it is from being bursted down from like 8+.
If you get the effect off without him being dispelled or dying before you play him then he is incredibly OP. His weakness is in how hard it is for you to set him up. I got 2 copies from orbs so I always ran 1 or 2x but he very rarely ever does anything for you. I would rather play Pandora who will just eat a removal and leave me with a 3/3 wolf.
I don’t get this"Lyonar is tier 1" stuff. They’re a really manageable faction. Although I guess I’ve only ever played decks that are good matchups against them… but still, outside the obnoxiousness that is Holy Immolation they just seem slow compared to tier 1 decks of the past.
An unanswered lion can do up to 8 damage per turn, windblade does 8 on its own, and that’s only their turn 1 minions. It gets out of hand very quickly.
Not to mention “have hard removal in hand when I say you have to or you lose” divine bond
Hmm, I guess I just happen to play decks with lots of hard answers. It’s typically their tiger combos that mess me up.
Its not like you dont have the time to respond. And generally speaking every single fraction has their answer or lose cards. Deathfire cressendo, juggernauts and spectral revenant, bloodmoon priestess in abbysian, storm kage(not like it sees much play but it IS remove or lose card), katara, ranged minions with buffs in songhai, all the grow theme in magmar( i dont want to talk about their makantor and burst), and so on. At least in lyonar you have respond time so they are quite healthy overall. Tiger is causing much more issues than Lyonar cards.
