Immortal Vanguard came out with a new exciting mechanic: Build. Sadly, this mechanic is non-existant, since it is slow, and 3-4/6 factions just make it useless. I would suggest reworking build mechanic, or make the god damn meta slower so I can enjoy my Gate, as well as work towards a swarmy Gigaloth build. Or make Timekeeper 3 cost, so I can finish gate next turn via DFS.
Gate(and build in general needs to be buffed)
Timekeeper costs the right amount of mana. Maybe they can create another card to help with building.
But Gate has to stay meme.
Not just no but Hell no. Gate does not need to consistent at least how I am envisioning you thinking that it should be consistent. Abyss has 3 inevitable snowball cards Doom, Variax( lilthe) and Gate of the Undervault you just play the card and you win the game via having played the card. As you can see all these cards are fairly hard to get off and for good reason.But since I am about answers
Here is my suggestion
A card that hits the board late enough to where it shouldn’t matter if builds can be instantly build and expensive enough that no build minion and it can played in the same turn with without ramp being involved.If turn 7 comes and play a build.Then turn 8 you can use it with this minion and i think that might too be strong.
Ok, I understand the point of Gate not being consistent a thing, it is just my devotion to the card, that I want to see it tier 1. Timelord seems interesting, but he alone wouldn`t fix the build broblem of being so easy to counter. Maybe if there was a card that made build minions in build mode untargetable bu spells?
As an Opening Gambit till your next turn or as a permanent ability on a dispellable and killable minion: Build minions are untargetable by spells.
Seems to be strong and needs to be tested. Gigaloth is already good and an even more consistent Gigaloth can wreck the game.
My idea wasn’t suppose to fix builds,It was attempt at making a builds a fair late win condition card something you play all it has to do is survive for one turn and you consistently get to play your card. And with the fact that ramp is in the game i suggested card would probably be broken because that isn’t a very hard set up. What you appear to want is build minions with no risk of removal and that is very very very bad idea.

gate autowins against decks that don’t run hard removal and forces those that do run it to spend their turn using it. what more can you ask out of a 4-drop? the only way you end up at a disadvantage from it being answered is timekeeper being a dead card but that’s far from game losing.
there’s no scenario where being able to reliably build gate in more than half your games doesn’t make it the lone tier 0 deck in the game.
I think it’s kind of sad that nether summoning doesnt work with gate(actually i havent tried but seeing as the structure is a token yeh?). I mean, it’s practically the card that needs nether the most.
