Before the hint I thought it could be consuming rebirth.

Now Iā€™m confused.

This should be smth that buffs, but with a disadvantage. So it could be also be either Primal Ballast, or Amplification. But I canā€™t say that I consider the price dark in any of the cases. Bear reference could point at primal ballast, but I just canā€™t justify the shadows and scent reference.

Actually Iā€™ve checked every Abyssian card due to the Shadow reference and dark price, but scentā€¦ Iā€™m lost.

To the assasin riddle.

Is it Void Steal?

Or, better, itā€™s Corporeal Cadence. Takes life as an assasin. Gives dmg like a blade. Empty=corporeal.

EDIT. Oops, I should have done my English classes better. Words corporeal and incorporeal became mixed up in my head. So my logic is flawed.

They ARE hard, IMO, but that is not bad. You shouldnā€™t be depressed about it. Iā€™m looking for answers, but I just canā€™t find them. Yet.

Was it Breath of the Unborn? It ties into the lore, where Lilithe freed an Abyssal Juggernaut using it.

But if i had to guess for the blade one. it would be void pulse or desolator.
They take health, they give health, void pulse is empty by name, but desolator has that endless property. Desolate = empty so If i had to choose, id go with desolator

For the stoic oneā€¦ i would guess variax. The first hint seems like awesome shadowspawn(lilithe) and i get the feeling its awesome abysal scar (cassyva) from the second hint

Dind-ding ding! We have a winner! The corrct answer to riddle #5 is Voidsteal!

Like an assassin, I take

This is a reference to Nightsorrow Assassin who takes -2 attack from an enemy minion. Voidsteal takes -3 attack from a surrounded enemy minion.

Like a blade, I give

This is meant to be a reference to Killing Edge which gives a friendly minion +4 attack. Voidsteal gives all friendly minions surrounding one enemy minion +3 attack

Endlessly taking
Endlessly giving

This is meant to reference the fact that it is an AoE sort of card in that it affects multiple minions at once.

Yet I remain empty all the same

A reference to the cardā€™s name, VOIDsteal.

Maybe that was too cryptic? Onwards to the last riddles!

For riddle 3, you guys will need someone like @mmf who applies the hints given to the real world.

Well, thatā€™s a bit far-fetched, IMO. Itā€™s poetically relevant though. :grin:Still, Iā€™m glad I got it :slight_smile:

EDIT. @phoenixtoasches, assasin kills minions with <2 atk. Itā€™s siren who lowers atk.
