Forum Game: Riddles
Though I may be small and naught in power
I play a gamble
To awaken one stronger than me
Though wild and unpredictable are weI wander a vagabond
Reminisce of my colored days
With raw energy abound
I erase those like me
Those who have gone astrayMy brother and sisters
I can make them bigger
A fist more heavy
A body more stoic
Not that it is needed
But for a price too dark to bear
You need only ask
Ask and you shall receiveIn my quest for a hero
I composed a price
True strength shall only be revealed
In presence of humiltyLike an assassin, I take
Like a blade, I give
Endlessly taking
Endlessly giving
Yet I remain empty all the sameMaybe youâve seen me
Hocking from night to day
The only merchandise I provide
Is myself, me and IBeware of my hidden presence
The toll is as follows:
One for fools with no patience
One for creatures weak in heart
Your life is mine if the toll leaves you in povertyI have long died
Ascended to an alternate heaven
Bring me back to life
If only for a moment
And may my death
Grant you their legend
So we have got 4 riddles down everyone, 4 more to go! maybe I should give an extra hint to #3 since that might be considered vague although when I did that for #4 the riddle was guessed right away.
To summarize number 1 was Sol, number 2 was Soboros, number 4 was Auroara and number 8 was Skyppy.
Is it Grandmaster Variax?
Someone guessed that already, that card wouldnât make sense considering it only affects him and your general, not your brother and sisters. Also, what would be the dark cost?
EDIT: I thought you said Grandmaster Kraigon for some reason. No, Grandmaster Variax is incorrect, there is no dark price.
Think about the last two lines and perhaps any significance they might have outside of the game. I know a lot of people seem to skim over that part.
Death Knell? just going on the âtollâ metaphor
I feel like this is connected to the 3 Scion wishes, so it could be the Vet minion that gives scion wish on death?
Is this even a minion???
My brother and sisters
I can make them bigger
A fist more heavy
A body more stoic
Not that it is needed
But for a price too dark to bear
You need only ask
Ask and you shall receive
The second hint:
A scent fills the room
Whatever appears
Chained to bear his holy burden
Shadows creep before his advance
Klaxon? 15 char
has stygian observer been guessed?
Klaxon is incorrect. Wouldnât make any sense with any of the lines except for shadows creep before his advance. Stygian has been guessed and incorrectly so.
@mmf, have any guesses so far?
Are my riddles really that hard? Are they just bad, too vague or too cryptic?
Maybe I should just reveal the answers?
Is no.3 aspect of the bear or primus fist?
So the only ones left are these 2 right?
For the second Iâm guessing Drake Dowager. The first line has to mean either itâs coming from the hand or itâs a sentinel (Iâm going with sentinel). The fools with no patience is referring to the enemy foolishly going face even when they donât have to causing the transformation of D.D. The last two lines are actually building upon each other though as a dowager is a widow who was given land/a title by their late spouse. So the weak in heart refer to the husband dying and the âyour life is mineâ is a play on how the dowager receives whatâs left of her husbands property bestowing upon her whatever label her late husband had in life (except man of the house of course). The Ones are clever hints towards D.Dâs 1 attack.
And whyâre you asking me @phoenixtoasches? Their are plenty of other active (and willing) riddle guessers
Nope, sorry, but good answer!
@mmf, there are 4 riddles left, in additions to the ones you provided:
- My brother and sisters
I can make them bigger
A fist more heavy
A body more stoic
Not that it is needed
But for a price too dark to bear
You need only ask
Ask and you shall receive
The second hint:
A scent fills the room
Whatever appears
Chained to bear his holy burden
Shadows creep before his advance
I remember this one!!! It was abyssal Juggernaut, which Lilithe freed with Breath of the Unborn in the cards lore
I asked you cause I thought you were the best riddle solver here. Your answer to the âtollâ riddle is incorrect, but it was close. @alexx55, what riddle are you answering to?
Is this Gate to the Undervault by any chance?
Nope, but good guess. Like I said to others, pay attention to why I used the exact words I used.
