Forum Game: Riddles

there should include pandora but i can tell whether they’re cubes or orbs, maybe a mixture of both

I don’t think Pandora is an appropriate candidate for the answer anyways. I’m looking for a minion that specifically grows in power, like Lightchaser or Juggernaut. Because of “beware of where your fingers roam,” I was thinking that it was a minion that grow stronger based on the opponent’s actions, like Crimson Occulus or Fatewatcher, but both weren’t correct. (I couldn’t imagine something like Pureblade Enforcer being correct either.)

beware of where your fingers roam seems more of a positioning-based effect than grow though, I’m really stumped at this one

@mmf Can we have some more hints?

@mmf I’ve gone through the entire neutral set. Thrice. I still have no clue.

@phoinexflame’s right! It was ruby rifter all along!

Breakdown:

Summary

Refers to both it being a minion as well as the tact that ruby rifter is actually just wearing a set of armor (look at concept art above).

Rifter means to split (ice) and a ruby is a precious metal forged over countless centuries so it’s a wealth only taken from time (and pressure) so R.R is someone who breaks a ruby to gain power which is canon in the world of duelyst since precious gems are depicted to hold immense magical power.

R.R gains attack whenever your general takes damage. (@gsvalhalla had guessed health earlier)

Another reference to damaging the general

In ruby rifter’s palm is a set of glowing orbs (shown to be one giant orb in pixel form). She attacks with the orb.

Reference to atttack animation

Many cultures regarded the ruby as an extremely precious stone and royalty would often don them as accessories (I suggest you look it up, it’s quite fascinating)

Blood is a sacred liquid deemed holy by religions such as the ancient aztecs as well as Christians and was supposed to link to the act of dealing damage which in turn would trigger the increase of power in the minion.

And did you know that Ruby Rifter isn’t in any of the card sets? According to the card search it’s not even in the core set (which is odd since other monthly reward cards are considered as core?)

Anways, hope you had fun!

Well at least I got something from the riddle right, just went in the wrong direction out of the 2 options I mentioned for the health part of the riddle.

He stands as a god
To make him an ally, you`ll need a fortune
His blessing is magic that negates all harm
And fuels your bloodlust, making you stronger in fight
He can create fissures, that will wipe entire armies
But even then, something like a little shroud can take all that power away.

Grandmaster Kraigon?
He’s 9 mana to summon, has/gives forcefield, gives your general grow, and is dispellable. Not sure about the fissures though…

You are Right. Fissure is meant by his Attack animation(it is similar to a fissure and didnt want to say flame)

Ruby Rifter was pushed out of core set to move in cards like BoA.

But it wasn’t place in any card set which was weird.
