Oops, I didn’t realize how difficult it was. Some hints then:

I follow where your path is bright - refers to name in an almost contradictory way
Despite my darkened heart; - name
I give you strength to help you fight - gameplay
I’m yours, though we’re apart - name

Some additional comments:

“I follow where your path is bright” - this is out of necessity. The path must be bright to follow.

“I give you strength to help you fight” - this tells what the card does literally.

“though we’re apart” - perhaps an overstatement, this part can be ignored.

@devildriven Nope, doesn’t quite fit the darkened heart part. You’re right with the idea of giving strength referring to giving attack, though.
