I think it’s rhyming itself that adds difficulty to the riddle c:

Yes! It is indeed Purgatos the Realmkeeper

The words I used can be somewhat figurative here and there, but over all it’s pretty literal.
I do worry if the riddle will be solved, considering some people might not even know the answer is a thing in Duelyst.
Also the riddle has some elements of a chronicle in it, they are intended to make answering the riddle easier. But now looking back I worry they might distract too much and end up accomplishing the opposite. My bad.¯\(ツ)
Hint: You will need to think outside the “box”.

I can’t make sense of the first two verses.

The last one would suggest a Jax, maybe? (Beyond reach for ranged, identical minions around him, the coldness for the razorback buff?)

Nope. What have I done?

Second hint, because I feel bad: There aren’t any reference to any gameplay element or attribute, etc. that the answer may or may not possess.

You have created a monster the likes of which we have never seen before.
Kinda like 6/5 LASER TIGERS!

The great tree Aperion? or is that too outside ‘the box’?

Welp, good job.

Torn, weeping were my mother. - Refers to Tree of Eyos, as Tree of Aperion stemed form it’s Heartwood. And after the fact, the Tree of Eyos is forever as known as the Weeping Tree.

One too, before her slumber. - Refers to Kaon, who after extracting the Heartwood mourned until her death.

Those who carried me, - Refers to the Sererai, who carried the Heartwood to place it “as far away as possible” because Kaon got high.

Untouched were one outsider. - Refers to Starhorn, who dodged the other six Sererai unscratched until Kaon let him join.

'Round the world have they toiled. - Sererai had a grand world tour.

Oath, some sworn, some foiled. - They planned to keep Aperion’s location secret, but Graye tried to foil it, and Starhorn disagreed and weaved the information into the Dance of Dreams.

And me, to the soil. - Aperion is a tree. hah!

Beyond reach, I settle. - Aperion were planted in Whyte Mountains, “far beyond the prying reach of the Aestaria”.

Around me, identical. - Deladriss Peake - where Aperion was planted, is described as “shielded on all sides by hundreds of identical mountains” by the lore.

Dropped, was a petal. - Aperion drops petal. yay.

Who am I? Where I am?
None of your buisness. - Aperion is a secret.

But goodness, the coldness! - It’s quite cold there.

Probably should have made it more obvious, considering I ,from out of nowhere, unprecedentedly, used a lore-only character.

Now I’m debating whether we should be using Lore-only characters/objects or not considering people might not even know the answer is a thing that exists in Duelyst.

I think it should be fine; the possibility of a lore-only character makes these riddles more interesting. Well done with your riddle btw and well done nomeltian for the solution.

I’ll stick to cards tho, the risk of spoiling something is too damn high.

Diotas? filler filler

Nope! No tombstone there, but definitely something to do with death or something akin to it.
