It is another food I lust for
A “devourer”, it presumably feeds on weaker minions.
As I feast energy surge so much
His “feasting” results in a surge (War Surge, Kinetic Surge, +1/+1) effect for minions summoned nearby.
That the true born on me declares war.
He’s always a priority target because of the value he generates.

Nope. It seems the third line was a bit too much. It’s not really ‘surging’, it’s just that if if don’t keep it in check quickly, it will create a difference on something vital to the game.
