I’m gonna wait until tomorrow to confirm or deny just to see what everyone comes up with before I first start narrowing stuff down, but @d5dr4k3, while all the magmari species are only male, not everything in the faction itself is male such as Moloki Huntress. I’m not saying the card is Magmar and I’m not saying it’s not, but I just wanted to point that out before I go to sleep.

Hopefully I wake up to a bunch of guesses and disprove/approve them all!

  1. Sol, he’s weak and the only reason you would play him would be to re-activate a rawr or stronger battle pet even though your “gamble” may not end as expected (stupid yun, hitting into everything but the general :rage:)
  2. Soboro. There’s an odd aura about him and his effect is geared towards an anti-neutral set-up. The gone astray portion reminds me of neutrals being factionless.
  3. I’m going Horror Burster for this one. I could go with Variax or Blood Baronette, but none of those really has a “dark price” attached to their transformation.
  4. Hmm, a price that’s only revealed by humility huh? Add in the hero part and I can only guess a card that works only when your general (the hero) has taken damage. I’m guessing Blood Taura, but if that’s wrong then I’m guessing that it’ll be a Magmar card :crossed_fingers: .
  5. Dancing Blades. It’s like an assasin in that it deals damage with no counter while still having no one to swing the swords (the empty part). As for what a blade gives, heck if I know. Perhaps pain?
  6. Replicant? I can’t say for certain any of the lines other than the last being part of it though.
  7. … Are spells counted here? Because if they are then I’ll have to say Plasma Storm since it punishes low-attack swarm builds (no patience and weak minions). It doesn’t take one’s life though so…?
  8. Reaper of the Nine Moons only because he’s the only one that both steals and (in a way) comes back to life.

I’m with you alexx on it being an artifact, but the hidden sacred cloud line keeps me confused. The holy theme alongside Roar HAS to be Lyonar, but what about that cloud? :cloud: :thinking:

I’m thinking it’s because Dawn’s Eye is the eye hidden by clouds and these clouds are seen during dawn.

Okay, fine, I’m bored so I will just tell you guys.

  1. Sorry @d5dr4k3 and @alexx55, but @mmf got it right. The answer was Sol.

Meaning he is weak

Opening Gambit is what this meant. I hoped someone would try bloodsworn gambler and they did!

Some got tricked on this. The focus here was “awaken” which in duelyst means to reactivate a minion. You actually see the term being used in the spell “Crimson Coil”

Meaning both the card and the other being mentioned are battle pets because pets are uncontrollable and unpredictable.

Meaning he is a neutral minion

The main point with this line was to reinforce the neutral thing by saying he looks back on the days he was with a faction which have colors.

His animation shows him wielding energy

Those like him would be neutral so he erases or destroys neutral minions.

  1. No one got this one right. alexx55, kraigon wouldn’t make sense since he only buffs your general, not "brother and sisters. d5dr4k3, shaman wouldn’t make sense since he doesn’t give them “a fist more heavy”. mmf, Horror burster transforms the selected minion not giving them a fist or body.

  2. I feel like this one sounds too vague so I will give another hint soon, but no one got this right.

  3. This one is really hard, but I don’t think it was too vague. Just take a closer look at the exact words I used. No one got this right.

  4. No one got this right. I can see where mmf went with replicant, but every line other than the end one wouldn’t make sense. Think on that final line though, I’m 99.9% sure that when you come across the answer you’ll be hitting yourself for not realizing it sooner.

So you would only know this if you were present when we were doing the public voting for a name for the new vet spoiler card. The name that won was Pyl0ns dog that passed away. Alternate heaven being doggy heaven.

Reference to the minion’s dying wish ability to give you a legendary artifact from the opponent’s faction.

So we only have about 3 checked off, keep guessing guys! If no one gets #4 then I will give a new hint.
