First time in my life i got rekt

As title states yup this is the first time playing duelyst where opponent totally got the best of me how would you survive if you faced new vet general with this…
turn 1 right side tiger plus first wish clears your board… 4 mana two metalurgis (whatever they wanna name) 5 mana emp then hero power allowing metallurgist to trade… i drop my puny ironcliffe and it got bounced r.i.p gg

ye i might come off as being salty but damn i couldnt play duelyst :frowning:

share below if u ever had any bad experience post patch with new generals

This could have happened with literally any faction as all the cards mentioned against you were either neutral or a neutral minion out there has a similar effect. Don’t sweat it too much, you just got REKTED.

That feeling is called getting the meta pulled out from under you. Top tier deck gets made irrelevant by a tweak to the game. Happened in M:TG Tactics a lot.

To be fair… I don’t have the new generals and dropped 3 metallurgists early in a game. I didn’t drop my 4 cost EMP because I was too busy dropping every other golem in the game on my opponent’s head.

What is that meltdown-meta youre speaking of?Meltdown was always a 8 mana 6/6 deal 6 random damage…which madman would print a card that is 7mana 7/7 deal 7 random damage and let it alive long enough to form a meta?..clearly CP would never do such a stupid thing

Jokes aside lordmantis is still talking nonsense(not even toxic)…zir,an has been at the bottom of the meta at every other point(probably only surpassed by sajj in that regard) so getting the meta pulled out from under you is a completely unfitting term for this situation.
Toptierdecks dont become useless just because new cards are added that change the meta…they just aren,t at the top anymore.A change to a coremechanic that ruins them is not common for CCG…didnt play magic so dont know how it is there

I honestly think that game was far from over had you played Decimate over Ironcliffe Guardian.

But Vet can definitely be a bully to Lyonar.

Zir 'an heallyonar got a lot better with new hollow ground tiles… its triggers a lot more…
