Faie Glacial Wall deck help

I’ve been using this deck (mostly for quests) to help rank up with gold and have had okay results with it, although I need help with it in certain areas. The majority of my losses have been due to a low amount of cards in my hand, especially due to the low mana curve. I also feel that Drauger Lord and Shiro are sometimes too slow with this deck, and usually end up replacing them a lot.

I added avalanche as a method to punish enemies for not being on there side of the field (with the help of wall and infiltrate pressure) and have gotten good results with it (killing a Bloodmoon Priestess and ~9 wraithlings with it). Glacial Elemental has really helped me maintain board control throughout games to help me establish board presence, which allows me to get a lot of value with Ancient Grove. While there are a lot of Vespyrs in this deck, it helps guarantee a card from Cryo (yet adds more RNG to what I get from it). Primus has also been helpful to help keep opponents in place, and Hearth Sister has immense synergy with Faie’s BBS.

So far, the only change that I plan on making would be to exchange Drauger Lord with Voice of the Wind, but I want to hear feedback before I start crafting anything.

I woud say srly cut down on the 2 drops and think about Blazehound or Sojouner (Vanar having the worst carddraw…so it isnt smart to leave them out)

Also the Frostfire inst that important…cut it for a Tiger…at the end nearly same result and Tiger has just the bonus of ruin gameplans.

Thats my thoughts but i am terrible with vanar so i dont want to speak to much : V

Thanks, I’ll try that! Frost Fire has been difficult for me to use, and I’ll add Blazehounds for the stats and card draw (Sojouner feels slow to me a lot of the times).

I would cut the FrostFires, Aspect of the Mountain, Ancient Grove, 1 Avalanche and the Draugar Lords for Snowpiercers, Tigers, L’Kian or Sojourner and if you’re having a hard time dealing with multiple minions consider adding 1 or 2 Sunset Paragon

Snowpiercer is a favorite card of mine, and Sunset Paragon is a nifty tech card for my deck, so I’ll try that. Thanks for the advice!

If you’re making a wall deck just go balls deep. Add Gravity Well as well xD

I want to, just have to get the dust for it TwT

My recommendation would be to drop the Shiros since walls are a big focus of your deck. Also, drop an Avalanche because 2 is generally unnecessary even against Abyssian Swarm. I would recommend adding a Sojourner because he’s a 1/5 for 3 mana so he’s a bit tricky to kill so he’ll usually net you 2 cards in the early game and will either net you 1 or bait a removal in the late game. Plus, Frostfire hitting a Sojourner is a nice minion that is pretty much an immediate threat especially in the early game.

Edit: My bad. Keep Shiro. Didn’t know it worked with walls. For some reason didn’t for me before. Probably just a temporary glitch.

So, if you’re gonna stick with this, then I say play whatever you feel is best for you, but if you’re looking to beef this up…

As was said earlier, cut down on those two drops. Too many and you’ll be tempted to use them all at once when it’s convenient - too little and you’ll never have a thing. If this is a wall deck, take advantage of the wall system.

Spells
Bone chill is fine, so you can leave that where it is. Chromatic cold is in a fine spot also, so that can stay at three. Frostfire is a tricky one… At times it can be a valuable asset, because you CAN swing with walls, and most people forget that, and wind up leaving them alone, or standing too close and gettin’ hit wit the okie-doke, and then they’re left with a 3/X wall will then have to be solved with either dispel, forced position change, or hard removal. Other times, it can be a nice big clunk in your hand, simply because you somehow goofed up and are left with no board presence. This one is on you. If you’re gonna stick with those spines I see, then keep them around, as Hearth-Sister is gonna be a friend of yours. Blazing spines is either an all or none in my opinion. Yeah they make a little board presence, but they don’t stick around long. The magical ninja squad, sand-nigs, and MAYBE the mirror might fear that, but everyone else? Mmmm, food. Cryo @ three. Always. Rest of argument moot. Avalanche… You gotta be careful here. Cut to one. It’s situational, VERY. If they don’t care about your infiltrate, then you got a nice bit of clunk there. Aspect… Hmmm… let me get back to you on that.

Minions
I don’t see a third snowchaser… why? That little annoying bastard is your best friend in an infiltrate-friendly deck. Undying minion that can be searched? Turn 1 Bonechill > Chaser? Uhh… fix that. Cloaker… eh. I say two, but if it works for you… White Mage is ok here. Hearth @ three if you plan on keeping those spines. otherwise 2. No Shiro. I don’t see Kara I’m-going-for-the-Tolbelistein Winterblade here. I mean, having a wall gain a little bite each turn is cute, but that ain’t gonna save you. A little less Glacial. He comes out of a cryo if you want it that bad, and if you don’t have board - which is a problem for us - then yeah. I kinda have a thing against primus. I’d say play him if you were playing Polarity, otherwise, No. Draugar…? There are better options. If this is Infiltrate, you want more infiltrate. Oh, where are your sisters? Infiltrate under a Maya is always a plus. If this is infiltrate, you need more things like Groot, repulsor beasts, maybe a ghost lynx, hell, even Paddo if your balsy… Things like that. The Veyspr thing… it’s nice, but don’t lean on it… not enough support. Now, you can get away with not playing saberspine… I’ve done it. HOWEVER, It does ruin butts if you need it too. Your call.

Tl:Dr
More snowchaser, less spells (-1 frost, -2spines, -1(?)Avalanche, -1 that mountain thingy… there are better options, and that thing is expensive…), no shiro, little less sister, a lot less primus, none of that Draugar stuff (He’s just bigger Wolfmaster IMO), and I am Groot. Toss in some odd stuff like repulsor, Bloodtears, stuff that moves minions, maybe mesmerize if you wanna fool around with people (forcing them into a BB makes people mad as hell!), or get them off that mid line for an avalanche setup… Beyond that, I got faith in you.

You got this bro!

Nice TL;DR xD I might muck around with a few decks, and this could be one of them
