but making magmar aggressive is literally throwing all of the faction base identities out of the windows. Rebirth is a value base keyword, GROW is a value base keyword, all of the faction removal is gear toward value (strong transform effects). Even selfharm magmar is a value base playstyle (either you ramp out big creatures that generate value early, bring stuffs back with keeper or have medium-size minions to get value off of twin fang). I dont like this âvetruvian identity crisisâ thingy that the devs trying to throw at us magmar mains like they did to vet players.
Back to the card revealed: It should have been a vetruvian card, both design and flavor wise. Abyssian has hard removal (and cheaper ones coming), although it was suppose to be their weakness. I cant understand how they justify taking away vetâs ability to answer range threats, yet filling in abyssian âsuppose to beâ weakness with blatantly strong cards that fits much better else where. People might say the card is bad/slow, but how are you going to kill cass without a board when abyss has void pulse, grasp, lure, punish, this card AND kaleino (songhai excluded i guess). This is like Control magmar in beta all over again, but it worst because the creep abyss clock is much stronger than tri-elucidators and abyssian healing is much better than magmar (and abyss fairs much better against songhai than magmar)

Yeah but if they chose to try and camp a corner then they have to have at least two blood moon priestesses on board to not kill one and still be safe
Really love this card, makes me want to build to my noob Abyssian deck again. Very glad that itâs epic rather than legendary.
Iâm certain Aymaraâs effect still procs. It says destroy all minions and summon wraithlings in their place. Meaning the dying wish should proc.
Yeah, itâs basically a low range aoe dark transformation that also hits friendlies

Well now we can say that abyssian was weak at removing things. Seriously, how could you beat control cassyva now that it has punish and this plus all the great card that we already know? It Will remove evrything until late game and Spectral revenat, obliterate and Ghost azalea for the victory.
Is that cassyva going super saiyan?
I wish there was a little more design consistency, Iâve started to firmly associate these ânearby your generalâ removal effects with Vetruvian.
Indeed this will make cassiva even more annoying than now. Not only she can spam kaleinos to prolong the game now they add some crazy value removal to her kit. Good luck killing her before 8 mana.
If you donât you die to revenant spam, revenant revive spam or obliterate/ghost azalea.

Are you particularly good? Or are you just salty because youâre not good at that matchup? This card wonât be very annoying, it has a lot of counterplay, and it wipes their minions as well, plus it requires cassy to be nearby enemy minions, which goes against usual Cassy strats (in my experience).

I hate abyssian the most, you see their moves from a mile yet most of the time countering that is not easy. even if you kill 2 revenants they can still have more or just revive one or whatever. And kaleinos that just keep healing them to full, by just being there and at 5 hp if they put it on backline very hard to remove especially if they play 2-3 of them.
Usually you just try to kill them before 8 mana turn, to do this you attack and corner the cassiva. This card is free escape from jail card: only 6 mana to remove everything that is hitting her in the face and spawn wraightlings in their space, if cassiva wasnât a walking countdown to your death maybe it would be reasonable, maybe you could afford to spend time playing around this somehow (still this is insane value its like better version of makantor or holy immulation, not limited to 4 damage, comes from hero so you can reposition before use and spawns minions on top of the dead bodies). Killing their own minions hardly a drawback for abyssian they either get extra value from it or move the minions or cassiva before attacking. If she is cornered she likely has no minions to begin with.
Did they make this card just so we Vet players can feel bad about Enthropic Decay? Abyss has many mediocre cards, but it also has all the fucking removal, win cons and more.
I just hope they are releasing those cards because both Revenant and Kelaino are going to be badly nerfed, and they are trying to make sure those nerfs wonât destroy the faction, in a weird way.
On a more optimistic note, I like how the rares and commons they revealed so far seem more often than not useful and interesting.

Well the problem is, if you want to beat Cas (I have no experience with Lil so Iâm not going to say anything about her) you have to be super aggresive, or be very lucky in the late game, I won like 90% of my games that went to lategame. So if you want to play around Necrotic, you will probably play your minions at your back, right? Well you just giving her time to develod more threats and value generators. You will just go to the lategame, and lose (most of the time).

This cardâll be fine in Lili I think, Cassy is just crazy all around right now. Thatâs an interesting comment that itâs similar to makantor or holy immo, I did not think about it that way before.

We can only hope we get some amazing other cards, but I doubt it.

1.how are u gonna kill cassy without putting minions nearby her (unless u are songhai, but hey KALEINO) ?
2. Theres no minion in a creep deck that i see as too important to not sacrifice for my generalâs life, whenthe deckâs wincon is all out of hand (revenent, obliterate, azalea). Maybe kaleino is but if u have an unanswered kaleino on board as cass, u are not losing anytime soon
I meant when playing Cassy you usually want to stay a fair distance away from the enemy.
