Seems one bug has given birth to another.
Duelyst Patch 1.90 – Duelyst
Glad I could help.
I noticed that.
Guys, the devs will not release major changes and features every month. What if they are still working on mobile support, fixing card interactions, fixing networking problems and other important stuff like that? These are all things that take a lot of work. This discord integration thing doesn’t seem to be very time consuming to do, maybe it just took one day in total to implement that. The razor integration is not important for the players, but it’s good for marketing and profitability, which helps keep the game alive. But these are all small things that happen during development for one reason or another.
Now if that is true, and I really hope it is, what is lacking is a little bit of communication and transparency with the community then.
First - mobile is up on the map since two years ago? Time is not their problem.
Second - marketing through razor? Where is banco in all of it? Where is the marketing?
Updates which are jokes is what we get since the expansion landed.
Thanks for another patch!
Interesting to see how many people here are experts when it comes to the inner workings of CPG or the production of digital card games in general. Seeing how I don’t possess the knowledge of either of the two, I refrain from any sort of judgement and just enjoy the support that Duelyst gets.
Keep it up =)
This isn’t a balance patch, but I’m glad to see that the game is still trying to release content for players (with the addition of new raid bosses, ability to get UP common cards with daily quest, and the reintroduction of monthly quests). It’s good to see the bugs fixed at well (although as stated earlier some bugs are still current). I believe that Duelyst has a good meta atm, so I hope we see more content released soon!
So I was the only one stupid enough to expect sentinel fixes?
When’s the new expansion?
Inquiring minds want to know. In the new regime of no monthly cards and no card changes, the meta quickly stagnates between expansions.
No more monthly cards? Like getting to R20, 10, 5, and 0?
They stopped that ages ago…
There used to be four new cards every month, which shook up the meta.
In terms of speculations for the next expansion, these are the dates of the previously released expansions;
Denizens of Shim’zar: August 16, 2016
Rise of The Bloodbound: December 15, 2016
Ancient Bonds: March 14, 2017
Unearthed Prophecy: July 11, 2017
Based on this data, Duelyst has an expansion approximately every 3~4 months. Based on this data, we should expect Duelyst’s expansion in either mid-October or mid-November. Due to the timing of this patch and the pixel previews that we already have, I would predict that we will have card reveals at some point in mid-October, followed by the next expansion being released in November. If the expansion is released in the middle of November, I think there is also a good chance that the expansion after that will be released in February (since UP has been released in the month before the release of DoS, and I predict a similar thing will occur with the next expansion in relations with RotB).
I concur.
Usually when it starts itching for me it’s about 6-7 weeks away.
I largely concur with this. However, with so few expansions in the game thus far and two of them being comparatively small, it is entirely possible that CPG may change their release schedule.
I hope not (and don’t believe this is going to be the case), but judging from the previous expansions, it’s possible they’re still finding their tempo. We’ll see.
@ThanatosNoa I found a new bug, it’s fun though, made this deck to test it and it’s rather cute:
Bug is that Rebirth minions get put into play by Unseven’s Dying Wish.
shhhh
don’t tell him
I contemplated this
The one time Unseven actually gets to be useful
