Also, im wondering why no one mentioned a bloodtear on the tile into repulsor to the diagonal top left of dragall to clear the sentinel and threaten t3 wanderer in game one.
Is there a problem with that play I couldnt see?
no issue with the play you mentioned, but there’s only two of us haha. Theres handfuls of different plays that could be done.
We didn’t get to shoutcast your round 1 match unfortunately. I believe your opponent didn’t have me added on Duelyst client (or maybe it was you?), we also made sure to prioritize matches that went 2-1 to give people a bigger sense of tension.
Ok thanks! I think you added me during the qualifiers last match so you should be able to have both perspectives for the second half.
the reason I didn’t go for that line was that I was wanting to save to bloodtear for as long as i could as I was kinda scared of abyssal crawler making things like munch and yeilding depths super strong. I hadn’t seen his deck at all at this point so I tried to keep my options open, however it may have still been the right move to use them. The real misplay came the turn after that, where I took 2 extra damage and gave dragall a mini jax instead of a crestfallen.
IIRC, I made a note that when Wanderer is being played, opening gambits and removal both are prime resources that need to be conserved.

I guess I was just thinking that an early wanderer against what I would have assumed was creep cass would have been more effective, but I see your way of thinking as well
Pretty sure I was Lolicon’s opponent in round 1. (Also will be their opponent in round 1 of the finals o.O) but yeah guessing they didn’t have you @tacticalgmr since pretty sure I do.
