Desck definition question

Hi guys i am new, about 2 or 3 weeks into the game. And i wonder what is:
Aggro decks
Control eecks
Other types?

Hey m8.

Aggro deck is a deck that tries to kill its opponent as fast as possible. They tend to have low curve (i.e more cheap minions and spells ) and their tactics most often consists only on going face.

Control decks are exactly the opposite. They try to stall the game until their big minions are ready to wreck opponent. Stalling can be archieved by healing, stunning and destroying opponent’s minions and such. They tend to have somewhat high curve (many expensive minions). These decks are usually played reactively.

Midrange is a compromise between these two extremes.

These’re also some decks, which are called tempo, though I believe in Duelyst they somewhat similar to midrange or aggro in their appearance, but are played differently. The aim of tempo deck is to always have initiative. By this I mean always have more threats on board than opponent.

Going over it the Hearthstone Gamepedia article on the subject gives a pretty good overview that applies decently to Duelyst as well.
