Creative Counters Nobody Thinks of

… you mean the ka variant?

How did you know it happened?

Theoretically Mindcage Oni could still be useful even after his nerf so you could Fault over their Fault and then Protocol Horn the swarm away, obviously this whole plan is a bit of a stretch :upside_down_face:

On a more serious note I’ve noticed the long forgotten Star’s Fury has actually became pretty good, with nobody playing around it anymore and Fault being popular it can score quite a few lethals.

I got literally zero kha enemies when I started running fault to tech their fault.

Playing against apex while having2 eclipses and a worldcore/excelsius/omega in deck. (Happened to me, but I didn’t have the muscly boi, not like he survived the double tempest afterwards.)
that moment when you use psychic conduit on sarlac/carrion/crystal wisp
On a side note, tethermancer counters gor and I totally don’t use her.
Pls no bully

And we all know the only counter is zurael after a circle of diseccation.

I was playing the Lurking Fear deck. When you have only one type of spell in your deck you know exactly what the enemy gets from Bandit

Once upon a time, Bandit made me realised I had only one type of spell in a deck of mines by stealing 3 of them. BoA :sob:. Knowing what was stolen only hurted more.
Considered adding some spells like First Wish just so there was something else to steal.
Titan of course counters Bandit by having nothing to steal.

Or wraithling fury

I have actually played Mindwarper after playing Sphynx as a strategy to get more riddles in play. It can be quite good in the right deck :stuck_out_tongue:

Theoretically, Spinecleaver is a counter to Fault. Especially if you can manage to stand in the center column and Blast 4 dervishes while they are still there.

I am not willing to risk 12 damage via Khanum Ka just so I can almost guarantee 4 damage a turn on the enemy (unless it’s the winning 4 or 8)

You will kill KhaKa two times next turn (so it’s 6 dmg a turn) and surround yourself with totems, so I guess your chances are pretty high.

And it’s 9 dmg by KhaKa anyway. Your spinecleaver will have 2 durability.

Reminds me of cultists from Slay the Spire.

I’m not claming that Cleaver is the perfect answer, but to get 12 damage from Ka you need to allow your opponent to have 3 other Dervishes, which suggests you don’t have other ways besides Cleaver to remove them, which in turn suggests you’re already losing.
Also, I was speaking about Fault alone, against Ka Watcher is better.

Knowing that you speak Russian I can’t help but think you called him that on purpose

Yeah, I just think it fits. You got me here.

For everyone wondering what we are talking about in Russian Kaka means Poop. Very fitting for the card…and for Vet in general

Spanish contains a phonetically similar word for the same material.

Khanum Ka! just sounds like a DBZ power move on the loo, honestly.
