While comparing Shroud to Falcius seems to make sense at first glance, upon examining them you will notice some rather large differences between them;
-
Shroud keeps the general invincible even on the enemy’s turn (very good),
-
It can be recycled with loremaster (somewhat better)
-
Falcius gives + 2 atk to your general for your turn only (Falcius’s only advantage over Shroud)
Shroud’s only “drawback” over falcius is that it doesn’t grant 2 attack for one turn, which can be easily played around with artifacts, especially since they can’t be destroyed as long as you keep Shroud up.
Altogether while I would agree with nerfing it slightly, I don’t know if it will happen, so I guess the only thing to do for now is add more dispelling units to my deck…

. That must be because, at least in my experience, his body isn’t that helpful. Shroud may not leave a body behind, but I still think it is stronger than Falcius because it works better with cheap Vanar artifacts then expensive Vetruvian artifacts, not to mention that spells can be used in more combos than a weak body with opening gambit.
