I think if it would be a way to change from pixel art to normal graphics it would be good for the game. I think a lot of players are dont play duelyst because they dont like pixel graphics. I dont know if that is possible at all but i think it would be a good idea

i actually like the pixel art. not to mention how much effort it would take to not only make new art but animate all of it as well

You have to realize this would include drawing up new art and animations for literally everything in the game, and creating double the art and animations for everything released in the future. It just isn’t practical.
The game is pixel art, and that’s just how it is. It’s part of the game.

I’d appreciate it if pixel art were integrated móre with the rest of the game. The art style is one of the game’s big draws for me.

I find the pixel art gorgeous. It’s the simplicity yet the vibrancy in the unit art that makes me PogChamp really hard when a new one is spoiled.

I don’t think an official change would happen. But I could see a semi official skin set if enough of the community wanted it.

Really, it’d be more than double. We’re talking about creating new art in comparison to the existing pixel art. While I have no doubt there likely exists concept art for all existing cards before they make the pixel art, the level of detail and work required to create higher quality sprite sheets (and yes, they’d still be sprite sheets unless they choose to render models) would be significantly higher.
Anyhow, the main idea here is that a design choice was made for the game. If they wish to supplement or change it, they’d do a cost analysis before proceeding. I cannot imagine adding a new art style to an existing game would generate more revenue than it would require to implement.
