“i think the fact that it dies to a general punch is the biggest strike against it. very high value, low-tempo play. not something i’m excited about ramping into on t2”

“I like how it can draw copies of itself. It’s like a little waterfall of value. The trick, I think, is to include just enough dying wishes for one Nekomata to draw another but not blank out and draw 1-0 cards.”

“Interesting but definitely not better than Dioltas”

Card Discussion Letrigress

This card is crazy in gauntlet and the 39 legendary deck. My favourite interaction with this is using Aspect of the mountain on one of the cubs to create a 5/5 rush pseudo-frenzy. This is a very sticky ranged minion that generates more bodies. Even if you can’t attack with the kittens immediately, you at least get some 2/1 bodies that can move closer the turn they are summoned. As for the card text: [image]

I actually suggested a card that was a 4 mana 4/2 with ‘Dying Wish: Put a random Dying Wish minion into your hand’ so I kinda feel like this card is my baby, whether or not CPG even took a look at my card.

Abyssian Dying Wish is my absolute favorite archetype, and this card finally gives appropriate draw power needed to make Dying Wish viable.

L’Kian didn’t work well, Rite is too slow and clunky with so many big minions, Jammer is bad for control decks. Nekomata is the perfect solution, and even works outside of Lurking Fear/Dying Wish decks.
