2. Never seen this used. Given that this Minion destroys an Artifact, it feels far too unlikely you run up against situations where you get to use this to destroy said artefact.

Even though it generates an artifact, it’s random, which mean it can be bad.

Big saving grace is that’s it’s favourably statted, meaning it won’t hurt too badly to play this without utilising it’s OG.

I won’t say its awful but I wouldn’t say its good either. I’ve only seen other people play it and maybe only 3 times, if that. The card is only really useful if the opponent has an artifact and not every deck uses them, which makes the card itself limited to its usefulness. Plus it is hurt by the fact that I think other cards are more useful in the neutral pool. Rust Crawler is 2 mana, destroy an artifact on your opponent. Its cheaper and allows for an okay early play plus easy to work with later in a game because its cheap and gives tempo if its OG is used. While Grincher is 5 mana, get a random artifact (from any faction) with a discount. While more random, the last time I checked before this expansion Grincher had a lot more “good” results than “bad” ones. Which means if you want an artifact within a minion Grincher is potentially a lot better. Also I’m defining a good result as any card you get that can work with any faction and receives the full discount as well.

Matter Shaper is more meta dependent than deck dependent for getting into a deck. While I think other options are better, I see the card as just a bad option overall.

Adding to my statement, after reading the reddit a bit, it could see play if artifact decks become more prominent.
Perhaps if Alibaster Lyonar sees much more play?

I’ve seen it played, it’s an underrated card. Immediate value, very nice body that isn’t worth hard removal but hurts to hit.

OG is useful when needed, not necessary for it to be at least a decent play. Not an amazing card, but surprisingly solid.
