Card Design Contest - Community Poll May/June
I like the battlewrought duelist the most, the design is actually quite simple however it creates an interesting minion which would be fun to play with or against. The only real downside is that the card cant start generating attack on its own, but rather needs to be attacked or buffed beforehand. This downside actually creates scenarios in which opponent compleatly ignores Duelist and hopes it won’t get buffed. I really hope devs get inspired by this design, one way or the other.

Why?
Because apparently it’s so broken, it caused an entire forum thread to be shut down. If that’s not meta levels of power, I don’t know what is.

Kudos on the design anyway! Argeon makes the drawback kind of moot but it’s still original and strong.
Rawr has more than 3 letters and is a battle pet. Just saying.

SLP would be better. Slip on it and you’ll have a chance to receive eternal sleep.
Bound Exorcist is a poorly designed card.
The best stats for a 4 mana minion is 10 and that is with no ability.
This Minion has 16 stats and boast an incredibly powerful ability with no downside.
Seeing that opening gambits can be skipped in this game shows that it’s downside was given little or no consideration time.
I would suggest that this minion read.
4 Mana 5/9
The enemy general can only move one space.
This minion has -5/-5
Or 4 mana 4/11
Enemy units can move one additional space.
Otherwise its just an op backline card or an overstated minion with no downside.

It’s an opening gambit. Opening Gambits can be skipped.

Really? I thought it was just targeted OGs that can be skipped. Huh. I guess I’ll go play Rushmar now that I know Lucy’s OG can be skipped. You mind telling me how you can do it?
Any effect that puts the minion into play that does not play it from your action bar will ignore opening gambit.
