i dunno, for me, i feel that rank 20 through 11 is too vast. something like copper, bronze( 20-15), silver (14-11), gold, diamond, srank.
Can we split up silver rank into 2 ranks?

Low silver and high silver definitely feel very different from each other; low silver is still very unorganized, but from 15 and up, you run into people with actual decks and strong legendaries, and general level of play is higher.
Not sure if itâs worth splitting up, but I can see the point.

I think having too many rank floors introduces the possibility of someone getting streaks of wins and losses (which does happen to us all) and having a net gain of chevrons. Itâs of course still in the realm of possibility, but the larger length minimizes the likelihood of this happening.
Itâd be pretty terrible, as a new player, to not be able to go back to a skill bracket youâre comfortable playing in and instead stick in a bracket with players who are more experienced/have more cards than you, no? Thatâs why itâs large, and why there is no floor between 20 and 11.

Silver is already easy enough to climb, even as a new player. If you have troubles itâs not the ladderâs fault. Consider putting a bit of an effort rather than trying to change the working system. Luckily, there is plenty of places where people are willing to help you. This site, Reddit, DiscordâŚ

Or maybe he is putting in a lot of effort and simply thinks the system would be better with a change.
I donât see anything in his original post indicating that this suggestion is based on an inability to level. That may be the case, and it may not.
I personally think he has a valid point, even though i really donât care very much about whether something like this is changed or not. There really is a lot of âspaceâ between 20 and 11 and an extra âbreakpointâ wouldnât be a terrible thing.

I havenât had much of a problem with anything like this once I hit a rank I usually stayed there, but like Maelrawn said if newer players could have a win streak into another rank, but they didnât have decks that were good enough to win in the next rank they canât go back down. Thereâs already enough of a jump from silver to gold we donât need another jump.
If that is implemented allow me to suggest names:
Tin
Lithium
Barium
Copper Sulfate
Aluminum Chloride
Chromium Sulfide
Sodium Hydroxide
Hydrochloric Acid
Also Bronze is made of Copper and Nickel so we cannot have a Copper Rank after Bronze.

How about make the current Gold Platinum and split silver into silver and gold? Then, the s-rank icon can be used to platinum and s rank gets a new icon (perhaps reuse an old icon)
