Ok so i just had to play some “person” who was spamming emotes like crazy because he was winning and I’ve muted him like 10 times during my turn but it seems that everytime i do something the mute goes away which kinda beats the purpose of it. If i mute someone i want to mute him for good, not for like 2 seconds. Or even better give us an option to just disable all kinds of communication ingame in the game settings.
I know there is an automute in the helper scripts but i have to use the browser to play because both the steam and standalone client are lagging like crazy for some reason so i can’t use them.
Can we please get a working mute function?

I’m pretty sure mute works for the whole game; seems like it might be an issue on your end.
Also, what other method than emotes are you talking about muting?
My mute also lasts about 30 seconds, either on Mac client or steam. And I’m pretty sure I’ve seen people posting about this issue before. So even if it’s not WAD, it’s a common problem.
Hmm, alrighty. Guess I hadn’t noticed such a thing; I tend to get lucky with my opponents. If anything, I’m the (losing) brat with the grand use of emotes.

Just tested it, everytime i click anywhere on the screen the mute disappears.
The other method i mean is the whole “Hello”, “Well played” etc.
