Cadence-Taura Extravaganza (Taming Cows) (WIP / Feedback apreciated)

Hear ye, hear ye!
Here I present to you, the greatest Abyssian entertainment on this side of the world: The Cadence-Taura Extravaganza. Where the entire show gets to be launched away by one of the newest additions to our arsenal: Corporeal Cadence!
Featuring of course the long forgotten, but never out-of-shape Blood Taura as one of our main attractions. Helped by our main tamer: The skilled and and awfully charming Arcane Devourer!
In addition to that we are bringing to you, from a far-away land, one of my personal favourites. A mighty whip that can twist anyones priorities: The Mindlathe! Which we will use to launch even you. Yes, you! though our corporeal cadence device… If you don’t suffer any mishap while preparing to do so… ahem!..
Anyway…
The rest of the show will be occupied by our new entertainer Xerroloth and, obviously our long-time stars: Desolator and Spectral Revenant!
Come see our spectacle with family and friends while you still can!

-Hey guys! This is my first post on this forum and I’ll appreciate any help or feedback that you are willing to give me… Also I’m not a native english speaker so thare might be wrongly written stuff or bad redacted sentences. Anything but the cards named above are disposable and likely to get changed sooner or later.
So that’s all for now! Feel free to give it a try and tell me if there is something that needs to be changed if you have the time… Cheers!

Looks really weak, depending on a mana cheap cadence combo. Your opening plays are a 1/1 wraithling, an artifact, or Sphere. Very weak openers for a deck that NEEDS to reach lategame.

The sustain is good, DFS with Desolator, removal, etc. Not sure the purpose of Xerroloth and the Devourer and Mindlathe might be a bit greedy but hey, I’ve never played the deck!

Yeah, I should do something about the early game (specially turn one). Thanks man!

devourer is a combo to get taura out before you have <10 health

also i think you would do better with azure healer over mystic since you dont really have anything that could take the heal besides blood taura and maybe revenant. maybe throw in cryptographer if you feel you need more ritual or DFS fodder

I have no constructive input on the deck…but I have to say your enthusiasm for presentation is awesome! I enjoyed reading the post.

I understand Devourer’s purpose, but that doesn’t make it a good card.

I guess, your main idea is to use BloodTaura/Cadence OTK.

Then you probably can take any (working) control list and just take early game from it.

Looks like you changed your deck a bit after the first replies, but I advice you not to use Ooz (Thunderhorn food and also can’t get mana tiles). Phantasm, Bloodtear Alchemist, Azure Herald are decent early drops helping with your control plan. I’d also get rid of blade in order to fit in 9 early drops, but maybe it’s a decent early play. I just don’t like it.

Still, your deck is a great contribution! I really like how unorthodox it is. GL on the ladder!

I’ll just say that you’re more fluent in English than you think.

As far as the deck, looks like a lot of fun! All I can suggest is maybe cut out Mindlathe for another 2-drop. Phantasm fits well with your Corpreal Cadence strategy, so if you can get a hold of it, I’d add 3 copies right away.

This looks like a super fun deck. I’d thought of the blood taura - corporeal combo, but cheating out blood taura with arcane devourer is inspired.

early game is decent with 12 t1p1 options, sphere tile t1 is not terrible. Xerroloth is card generation and gains value if left alone. Midgame is decent with DFS and Deso, Deso is also card retention. Late game is beautiful. Mindlathe can be tempo play, but i do not know if it warrants 3 copies. Deck has plenty of removal, but lacks dispel and AoE. I would think that a wall Vanar might prove difficult to deal with. Aggro decks like Cass, Reva and Faie might be able to out damage the deck, since there is no void pulse to stabilise. Other than that, i think it’s great work put together. I am tempted to try it out next season.

I’ve my own take on this deck and really get a kick out of it. The balancing factor for me is making it relevant even without the devourer/taura combo which isn’t so difficult with cards like Deso and Xerro. Fun deck for sure :smiling_imp:
