Tier: Silver (haven’t played yet since reset)
Game 1
Turn 2 Nosh-Rak.
I had 1 Wood Wen and 1 Black Locust, Aphotic Drain and Echoing Shriek in hand, alongside Rook and Spellbinder.
Yeah, easy loss
Game 2
Kaleos: Hamon and position shenanigans.
No answers.
Game 3
First match of the day (I usually make mistakes the first match of the day, also, yes, I had to take a break in-between playing this deck
): Grincherz, great.
Afterwards it turned out he WAS streaming, so see it for yourself here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/119323147 @timestamp 08:01:30
(Spoiler alert: I made a huge misplay mistaking the Sarlac in my hand for the Black Locust, but otherwise it was actually one of the better games in terms of options I had, not bad).
Game 4
No way to deal with one killing edge Kaido (the one time I DIDN’t draw those Echoing Shrieks which I could never use!).
Game 5
Mirror match, or well, really not a mirror match but same General. Started promising, with 4 Zyx and a DFC to bring him down to 14 by turn 2.
But, Punish, Kelaino, then Juggernaut and Spectral Revenant made it an easy win for him.
Conclusion
This was the last one, this is simply not fun to play. I lose 5/5 in Silver. I want decks which are fun and unorthodox and have a 50% winrate or so, and that’s how I play all the time by myself. Much prefer that, sorry ^^
