Bug: Spiral Counter does not work on transformed minion

Description

Sabretooth Tiger attacked my Heartseeker, then got transformed into a Wolf/Ravager, on my turn after Spiral Counter could not target it.

I expect a transformation to not change the fact that the minion attacked last turn.

Operating System:

Windows

System Specs:

irrelevant

Game Client:

Steam

Bug Report Details

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. P1 summon Tiger, attacks a Heartseeker owned by P2
  2. P1 Aspects the Tiger into a Ravager (Wolf) and ends turn
  3. P2 has Spiral counter in hand, tries to cast on Ravager: impossible

Technically correct: the Ravager did not attack that turn (Saberspine did). I’ll follow up with our team to make sure that’s intended, but I’m pretty sure it is.

That doesn’t seem logical to me, otherwise, using that logic:

The Ravager did not attack that turn, so it should still have been able to attack (which obviously is not how it works).

(and then, if you say that that does not work because it is a ‘new minion’ then all the times people transform walls into Ravagers and immediately attack with it are counterexamples to that again)

So thanks for checking, I think you’ll find it’s a bug (basically: transforming remembers whether the minion had attacked, so since it remembers, Spiral Counter also should remember).
