Bug (or not) in Mindlathe

I do not know if this is a BUG, but I wanted an explanation if anyone knows.

I was in a match of Abyssian and used Mindlathe in a Thunderhorn.

I took 4 damage and reactivated him, but when I attacked whit him, he did not do any damage to “all joined enemies”.

But when I reactivate him, will not my enemies become his enemies until the round ends or not?

There have been a lot of confusing interactions lately in the wake of the release of UP. What I’m assuming has happened is that when you take control of an enemy using turn based effects (whether it be mindlathe or psychic conduit) you merely make it so that you can move and attack with them. Their previous allies are not considered enemies since they will just be reconverted at the end of your turn.

Or it could’ve just been that the enemy didn’t have any adjacent minions/friendly enemies nearby. If that wasn’t the case then it’s weird that CP would code it that way.

Well then its weird that thunderhorns damage chains when grasp effects it (A long chain of 3 damage) as well as rainbow pony (4 damage)

Sounds like a bug, better report it!

That’s because they both cause the affected target to deal the damage. The same thing happens with a Spec Rev and Grasp. Weird, but not inconsistent with the wording.

It’s not inconsistent with the wording on the card but his point was it is inconsistent with @mmf’s explanation of the bug. In any case it’s a weird bug and IMO needs to be squashed, if it’s intended it’s super lame.
