Budget Vetruvian Deck

Hey everyone! I’m pretty new to duelyst and thought I would share my Vetruvian deck. I would really appreciate any tips that you could all give me to making this deck better. I chose vetruvian before doing too much research and found out that it wasn’t the greatest at the moment, but I chose to stick with it. I put this deck together based on what I have seen in a few vetruvian deck builds.

Which general are you playing? If you are using Zirix, I think that Primus Fists (2 mana 2/3) are good in Vet cuz you can buff your Dervishes to trade up higher. Possibly swap 1 Healing Mystic and 1 Pyro?

If you are playing Saj I think that she is not very good for beginners, as you need more expensive cards to build a deck around her.

I am using sajj but I am definitely open to trying zirix with this deck.
I will try the 2x primus fist as well

Hey! :slight_smile: As for your deck I would recommend leaning more toward Zirix than Sajj. Sajj requires a bunch of epics and legendaries to really use(well make work) and is pretty iffy in a budget deck.

I’m just saying as a Vet main I cannot recommend Vet to a new player. The faction is currently the weakest in the game and suffers from some pretty big issues that I’m not totally confident will get fixed during the upcoming expansion. But if you really enjoy Vet than keep going, overall you really should stick with what you enjoy.

As for your deck it looks like a mix between a zooish Zirix and an artifact Sajj deck. It should be able to take you to Gold but I think you’ll start having problems from there. here’s a good site to find decks when you get there.

If you you truly want to stick with Vetruvian I highly recommend you prioritize three copies of Aymara Healer, this is the best Vet minion and sees play in nearly all Vet decks. If you have any particular questions feel free to ask! :slight_smile:
