Strange, cuz I can get frustration pretty easily in ladder and gauntlet. My win speaks for itself on my opinion of the boss fight.
Hailstone Prison.
At first I thought the initial premise was neat. I thought, “Cool, I get to control this strong minion?” Nope, battle pet. Alright, well it seems to have a death wish by slamming its face on anything but the boss, regardless of its own hp. I’ll try healing it through, I struggled. Alright, I’ll try to block it; nope, apparently it has flying (and apparently the boss’s counterattacks count as attacks despite all duelyst text makes the distinction of them being two separate things.)
So I said screw it, I’m gonna see if I can cheese it. And I did. In the end, I do feel satisfied with my deck and get that consumer feeling of “smart/clever”, but it’s paved with an allied battle pet that feels like more of a handicap than a cool teammate. Why give a battle pet a specific enemy bonus when battle pets aren’t smart enough to utilize it. This is literally giving a player the Ion battle pet, except you lose when it dies. YAY!
So there, some bitter constructive feedback. No guilt. GL to other enthused players.
