I have no idea what to think of it, I’m actually scared to properly evaluate it out of fear it’s good. So I’m just gonna chill, call it a gimmick and hope that ends up being the case.

Seems pretty bad though, you can only play it if you are almost dead and a single removal and you’re a goner.
Welp, at least the damage-benefits theme is consistent so far with this month’s cards… but this card seems pretty bad, not gonna lie. Maybe a Magmar could use this and follow up with earth sphere, but they would have to be at least 5 health to do it. Even as a last-resort protection card, in a lot of cases the opponent will have a way around the provoke (unless you use it against a corner/wall, and even then displacement, removal, and dispell can hinder it). Not really that great overall…
To be honest, I think this card can be kinda good. 12/12 provoke is no joke, and if you can heal yourself up after playing it, it suddenly goes from descent to insane. I can see this card in Zir’an decks or aggroish lists which aim to trade a lot with the general.
One huge problem with this card is that it is completely useless against songhai, who would be all too happy to drop that fat spiral all over your face once you play it.
Quick hypothetical question: in Lyonar, if you die while having the card in hand and with Grand Master Zirix (and not dispelled) on the Board, does the cards cost become 12 or 0?
I don’t think it will be that good. Most times it will be a dead card in hand. It’s only playable when you have less than 9 hp, and even at 9 or 8 HP this card isn’t worth it. It takes up your entire turn and is vulnerable to dispels and removal like a golem or whistling blade. It possibly has the effect of dissuading your opponent from doing too much damage to your face, but that’s not very relevant when they can instead trade minions and develop their own board while you have a dead card in hand. It isn’t hard for the opponent to save his or her damage and burst you down from 9 hp.
I don’t see the reason why would it be 0 unless it’s a bug.

I can actually see a stupid Spirit of the Wild deck with this, which will go super low and than use it as a finisher instead of a defensive card.

3 for 3 monthly cards that will be good in Magmar.This looks like it will be pretty good in aggressive artifact Magmar build which use its face to trade alot.Mogwai Vaath smash build could probably this card.
I like they are giving us antiaggro tools instead of nerfing cards
This card can only really be used if you get really low, and most of the time, the turn it takes for it to come back is too much and the game is over
Not sure if a 12/12 golem will be useful when you’re at 9 life.
Yeah, I’ve already got a prototype for the deck in my head right now.
Basically, just fill the deck with removal to counter threats and make it to the late game. Inevitably you are going to get hit a decent amount along the way. Replace your cards throughout the game in order to get 1-2 of these in your hand by the end, then throw them all out with spirit of the wild for 12-24 out of hand damage once you get low enough. That 2 mana 3/1 pinger is perfect for this deck as well.
This could be really good in control decks though, and you slowly get whittled down and then you can drop it )

Yeah, that sounds fun. I would also add artefacts to make your health trades more productive.
Winrate will be at about 30% though, I’d wager.
